"We went here because the reviews were good on Trip Advisor. Salsa had only tomato flavor, I ordered hotter salsa... exact same thing. There were 5 of us our orders were steak fajitas this was about a cup and a half of very dead steak, onions and peppers. The sides were 1 Tablespoon of each Pico and guacamole. Chicken quesadilla soggy and greasy. 2 cheese enchiladas 1 beef No flavor . Calousa ok not great. He at it. The last one was a 8oz ribeye with fries and salad. A fry was thicker than the steak. itook a picture. The waitress was working her butt off. Save your money and get a Swanson frozen Mexican dinner."

We had a wonderful meal here during a business lunch with seven guests. The restaurant handled our group with ease, and both the service and the food were exceptional.

It has been our favorite spot in Hayden for the past 8 or 9 years. Gerania and the rest of the staff are fantastic. The food is consistently served hot and is delicious. They also make excellent margaritas!

I enjoyed a wonderful dining experience with delicious food at affordable prices. For dinner, I spent about $10 to $20 per person. I would rate the food a solid 4 out of 5, and the service and atmosphere also earned a 4. I definitely recommend trying the Smothered Burrito!

Service was slow even though it wasn't busy but the meal was excellent. I'm okay with waiting at a small mom pop shop. I got the steak fajitas- very tender steak. Portions were large and people were friendly. Loved their use of Spanish throughout the meal (and English of course)! Visualizza piatti

Toro Viejo, Hayden: The Old Bull is a solid Mexican restaurant in Hayden. They offer the usual American-Mexican fare. Although I didn't try anything out of the ordinary, the spicy salsa they serve is quite good. The service is excellent as well, which contributes to my 4-star rating.

Toro Viejo, Hayden: The Old Bull is a decent Mexican food restaurant in Hayden off Government. They serve up typical Mexican (American) fare. While I did not have anything extraordinary the hot version of their salsa is good. The service is also greatwhich adds to the 4-star rating here.

The food was average. There were many menu options. Chips and salsa were good. We ordered enchiladas and tacos al carbon. Beans tasted like they were from a can. Enchiladas had mixed both chicken and beef when only beef was applied. Taco meat was chewing. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but this place was a guy.

Food was average. There were lots of menu options. Chips and salsa were good. We ordered enchiladas and tacos al carbon. Beans tasted like they were out of a can. Enchiladas had both chicken and beef mixed in when just beef was requested. Taco meat waschewy. I don't like leaving bad reviews but this place was a dud.

"I loved this place when it was on Sherman, this is the 1st time I've been here in 10 years or more. And it's just as good as I remember. Google maps will lie about how to get in here. From Hayden avenue, turn at the Maverick, on N. Kirkpatrick street, you'll see the sign for Rustlers on the 1st driveway on the right. It's behind the Maverick. I was greeted by Woody, who confirmed I was seating just 1 person, then bragged about his Algebra skills. Lol He's always been a funny guy, he's the original owner. I was seated in back where I could read in semi quiet. The server was friendly and prompt, I had a Waffle smothered in butter and syrup, with 2 eggs over easy (perfectly done, btw) with 2 bacon, a small glass of OJ, and a glass of chocolate milk. All of which arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. I slow munched my meal and read, with the server popping by every 15 minutes or so. They were friendly, fast, the food was delicous and just how I remembered it, and all of that food costed me $14.89. I was there about an hour, reading, enjoying the classic rock and oldies playing over head. And if you favor old western type decor with various oddities, you will love Rustlers Roost. And They have homemade teas and soaps for sale up front, with other little original items. I didn't really look too closely, Idk what the prices were, but hopefully my pictures tell the story for me. I came for the nostalgia, and good food, and I wasn't disappointed, nd had a few laughs while I was there. That's why I give it 5 stars. Because there isn't 6 stars to give."
