"Girlfriend and I are regulars at McPhee's; twice a year, for her birthday and mine. Went on Saturday, July 6, had reservation for 8 p.m. We had our usual: madademia nut encrusted halibut for her, pork chop for me. As usual, everything we had was somewhere between delicious and perfect. Extremely good. Pork chop was cooked perfectly, vegetables were fabulous. Fish and Asian slaw were excellent. I made a mistake on my order, but no problem; after the food was delivered, the waitress made the switch and gave me a giant plate of mashed potatoes--most of which I took home. Everything--service, atmosphere, food--was great great great, and that's why we keep coming back. Only downer was: no pickled onions. They are a house staple and were missing that night. Bring back the onions!!! If you're looking for a top-quality meal, there is no place better that McPhee's. It's not cheap, but you really get what you pay for."

"After reading reviews, my expectations were high. The grilled seafood plate was good, with generous portions. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the vegetables were crisp, but the plate seemed to be missing something. The rice resembled Mexican rice and was just average. The poke bowl, priced at $22, was not worth it due to its presentation. The fish had a nice sesame flavor, but it felt more like fish and rice with a twist rather than a traditional poke bowl. The pommes frites were quite tasty. However, I was disappointed by the use of plastic forks and to-go containers for a meal priced over $20. The total bill for two people, including a glass of wine and dessert, came to around $70. While the location was convenient for me, I would like to have the same dining experience that others have recommended. I did appreciate the outdoor terrace seating."

"The restaurant is spacious with an open kitchen, indoor seating, and a large outdoor terrace with a beautiful rock waterfall. The menu offers wood-fired pizza, Snake River Farms American Kobe burger, salads, sandwiches, fish and chips, among other options. We decided to try the meat pizza with house tomato sauce, n'duja meat spread, Calabrese salami, Italian sausage, and a four cheese blend. When our pizza was ready, my partner picked it up and we dug in. I had never tried n'duja before, but it was a delicious spicy pork sausage spread with Calabrian chili paprika that added a unique and tasty flavor to the pizza. Usually, I like to add crushed red pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese to my pizza, but it wasn't necessary with this one. We enjoyed our meal on the large outdoor terrace, with the soothing sound of the waterfall in the background. It was a great start to our visit in Tin City!"

"Beware of this business when it comes to booking for events. We paid them in full and they never showed up to our wedding. OUR WEDDING! Last we heard was that they have us down on their calendar and that was it. Our event coordinator tried multiple times to get ahold of them and heard absolutely nothing. Calls, emails, etc. During our reception our coordinator broke the news to use saying she talked with the owner (finally! and they will not be coming because they sold their ice cream truck? What? Why would anyone sell their ice cream truck when they have events scheduled with it. So unprofessional. Our guests were left empty handed for dessert that night and it was humiliating. Especially because we talked it up so much. I'm a business owner myself and it makes me sick to my stomach to imagine doing this to any of my customers. Please watch out for this business when it comes to events!"

"What an amazingly delicious breakfast! We ordered the ricotta pancakes and the fried egg blta. Both fresh, hot and artfully presented! The lemon curd with the pancakes was fantastic. The egg was perfectly cooked and the brioche bun was just right for this breakfast sandwich. The fresh squeezed orange juice was so good and clearly fresh squeezed!! All served with a smile! Thanks for a wonderful meal!"
