I ordered bhindi Masala expecting it to be nice and flavorful but it was so bad. All the okra were so tight and full of fiber that gets stuck to your teeth. When we buy okra, if we get any hard okra while cutting it we throw it away. But looks like truindia uses the very bad quality frozen okra. Moreover in this they also mixed bell peppers along with it. It was extremely oily and really bad dish. Be careful when you order food here. One star because there is nothing lower than that.

I would give this restaurant a lower rating if I could. The service was incredibly disappointing. We were served very cold dosa, and when we requested hot food, the server just gave us a weird look. After waiting for 45 minutes, we decided to leave. As we were settling the bill, they finally brought out a dosa, and unbelievably, it was still cold. What kind of service is that? They didn't even offer us water. I definitely won’t be coming back, and it seems they don’t care about their poor service. Overall, it was a very unsatisfactory experience.

I had a truly disappointing dining experience in India. The restaurant was not well-maintained, with a dirty interior, and the food was served on plastic plates with paper and plastic utensils, which didn’t feel very special. To make matters worse, we ordered a masala dosa, but it arrived deconstructed! The filling was provided in a plastic container instead of being served inside the dosa. I’m writing this review mainly because I can't comprehend how this restaurant has a rating above 4, which led me to visit. When it came to the chole-bhature, we received four small, very thick pieces that resembled fried tortillas rather than the authentic dish. The dosa was mediocre—it was quite thick and didn't have the thin, crispy texture that a dosa should have. The atmosphere was the biggest disappointment; it’s definitely not a suitable place for dining in. They also serve food in to-go containers, which is a bit off-putting. Additionally, the service was very slow.

The taste and quality of the food at Tru India have been inconsistent. We've ordered multiple times, and the flavors of the mutton dum biryani and mirapakaya kodi have varied each time. On our latest visit, we tried the lollipop chicken, but it was baked instead of the crispy fried version we were expecting, and sadly, it wasn’t very enjoyable. We used to love the biryani, but its taste seems to change week to week. One dish we do recommend is the Cashew Chicken Pakora; however, every time we've called to order it, we've been told it takes an hour to prepare. If you can wait, the spicy Cashew Chicken Pakora is definitely worth trying.

I visit this restaurant every Thursday for family dinners. I truly love their food, and it remains fantastic to this day. Unfortunately, I'm giving them a one-star rating because today, when I went in for our special family meal, the person serving me asked in a condescending tone why my family and I only come on Thursdays. I replied that we really enjoy the food, and he dismissed my comment, which was confusing. His rudeness has also extended to our phone interactions, which has never been an issue in the past. Ordered food to go from this restaurant chicken lollipop and chicken fried rice. The entire experience was quick and easy and my food was waiting before my arrival. I enjoyed the chicken lollipop, albeit was a little oily for my liking, the chicken fried rice was decent, similar to what I've had with other restaurants, nothing to write home about. The restaurant looked clean and the front staff was friendly. The prices are comparable to other Indian restaurants and won't burn a hole in your pocket. There's a huge parking lot outside. If you're expecting exceptional taste, this place will disappoint you. This is a budget friendly restaurant, which isn't a bad thing at all, so it comes with it...
