"Came here during their 50% off special 2 weeks ago with my friends. We made a reservation a few days beforehand using Resy which was no problem at all. When we arrived, we were seated inside the booth seat. The waitress who served us, told us that due to Covid regulations, sharing food would not be allowed, so they did not give us separate plates. We ordered a medley of appetizers for each of us, from Wagyu sushi to shrimp dumplings. My favorite was definitely the cucumber salad, even though we got full at one point the cucumber did refresh us. We each ordered an udon dish, and did not expect them to be huge. They were bigger than our faces. As mentioned by my friends, the udon was delicious and the curry was really flavorful. I loved my Wagyu sukiyaki udon, as the broth was sweet and light; it really mixed well with the onion and the poached egg. The udon had soaked up the broth and adding the fried chicken from the appetizer, my appetite was satisfied. Came out of the restaurant full, and our bill was a fraction of the price $100), as it would be if we ordered original price. We did order drinks which were the original price, but unfortunately they did not have the drink I wanted that had matcha. Instead I got a their version of a Moscow mule, which was refreshing . As far as I know, the 50% special is still going, but I do recommend making a reservation."

Wow! My husband and I came here in late December and had to eat outside (covid restrictions) in the low 30s with high wind and it was truly wonderful! The food is so good and took me back to my days living in South Korea. I highly recommend a visit here!

very popular restaurant, absolutely before going to reserve. we missed our reservation because of parking problems and were on the first stage all the way in the back right next to the toilet. the food was in order, fast service. uni could have been cleaned better.

Was INCREDIBLE!!! I brought my sister and our niece. We all ordered different udon bowls and all devoured every last drop of broth. Food came super quickly and was amazing and the specialty drinks were delicious. Service was quick, friendly, professional. I HIGHLY recommend!

Same signature huge udon bowl, similar taste, plastic disposable cup, and 1/2 price. But I was informed that I have 45 minutes to complete my meal. Rushed, but no big complaint since every restaurant does whatever needed to survive these days. I will make another visit after the pandemic to regain love for this restaurant. Visualizza piatti

This restaurant serves their entrees in large bowls with oversized spoons. It can accommodate a large number of people and the prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area. While the food is not outstanding, it is decent. The restaurant itself is starting to show its age and there is a noticeable odor. I have dined here several times and while it is not the best, it is a convenient option.

This was by far the best bowl of udon I’ve very had. The sukiyaki beef was unbelievably flavorful and the beef itself was delightfully cooked. It was around medium, really tender, which is such a delight since so many souls will end up a little tough if overcooked. The sushi was solid, definitely really fresh. The udon is the real star of the show though! Highly, highly recommended. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, too.

very fill big bowl of udon. I got spicy tantan(acidified swarm w/sesame oil), but it was not spicy, had two or three schishito paprika already inside, but tangy instead and a lil over salty. would come back to try other udons. I added appetizer schishito paprika and soy garlic in my udonen broth, when everything came, it was good, but only his salty. service waa good host and everyone was nice. pricy but his manhattan so not too bad.($50 3things) Visualizza piatti

large eating, large portions, low prices (especially mon to wed with all day happy hour), large number of options including sushi, sashimi and appetizers, beautiful ambiente and decorations especially close to the bar, clean. I would definitely repeat it. they also have separators between each table. we had the spicy garlic chicken and shrimp dumping for beginners and both were really good. for the entree I had the truffle-cream-Udon noodles and it was amazing. the broth was creamy, rich and tasteful, the nudel had a big bite and there was a good amount of mushrooms and crumbs. all in my group loved eating and three of us packed the rest due to the great portions.

we came here on a snowy evening nyc and warmed us with their big bowls of udon. this situation was huge with several etagens compared to the traditional one we last eat in kyoto. the large menu included sushi, rice dishes and of course a large selection of udons from creams, curries, traditional and upscale truffles and wagyu bark. from Monday to Friday there was a happy hour discount (a few dollars off) on most appetizers and udon dishes menu. the Wagyu-Rind-Udon was so rich and a standout with truffles. also the regular bark was good. noodles were chewing and plentiful in a Dashi bruth. the tempura was slightly fried and one of the tastier tempuras we ate in the awhile. on the side, it cam...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
