"I would like to love Twisted Laurel. Weaverville has a few very good restaurants, and it would be nice to have more. My husband and I have tried TW a few times, mainly because they are open till 10PM. Unfortunately, the food isn 't good and the service is worse.We always try different things from the menu, hoping to get lucky and something will make us want to come back. The food is just a poor quality and doesn 't even look good when they sit it in front of you. I 'm sure most of it is frozen and they just undercook soggy fried it and send it out to turn over tables. The only thing worse is the service. I would love to have my drink delivered before my appetizer, but did not get it until our dinner was served. Having been in the business, I know there is more profit in drinks, both soft and cocktails. Plus cocktails raise the check total. But when you have to wait for it, all you want to do is go somewhere else. That 's what we will do. NEVER GOING BACK It hasn 't mattered when we were there or where we sat. It 's always BAD! Recently received a request from this restaurant regarding my review. They wanted me to come by so they could make things right. They even said their food is made there and not frozen. Even more reason not to go back. Lousey chef!"

Been MANY times since 2015. Never disappointed. This is a very cool place to wine dine, lunch or dinner. Always consistently good and very affordable. Try it you'll like it!

Awesome staff and great food. We had a great conversation with our waiter. I recommend the firecracker shrimp alfredo and the Peloponnesian spaghetti. You just can't go wrong with Twisted Laurel.

The service was very good. The food had an interesting twist on the traditional recipe. We were in a side bar that was more bar scene than restaurant, so the vibe was off for the food. We had Chicken Marsala, Meat Spaghetti, Risotto, and the donuts for dessert which was an excellent surprise.

Nice Atmosphere and Clean. Leah, our server was professional and kind. The calamari was cooked perfectly as was the shrimp. The Pasta was on point. My wife had the Greek salad with lamb and chicken, so tasty! Dinner was so good we had dessert too. We tried the apple pie and ice cream and the apple pie was so yummy. Hands down one of the best meals I’ve had from California to Florida. If I lived any closer I’d be a regular. Thank you Twisted laurel for setting your self apart from the overpriced vultures in the area and being a highlight of our visit to your community.
