If you are looking for great pizza from a well established local eatery, Valentino's is the place to go. I never miss an opportunity to order from here. My favorite is their Grandma pizza. Just order 2. Trust me, one slice won't be enough!

This is definitely my favorite pizza place, without a doubt. They also have a fantastic Italian restaurant. The service is always quick and efficient - the whole operation runs like a well-oiled machine. The restaurant is spotless, and the staff are professional and polite. And they make the best Chicken Parmesan hero I've ever had.

Called to schedule a luncheon and was put on hold for a while, then when the woman came on the phone she barked at me and told me she was extremely busy and to call her back in ten minutes to check the schedule. Called back and same thing happened , even worse than before, I've decided to take me my business elsewhere because they don't know how to treat customers. Their loss as it was a big group! Tried this place for the first time, our local spot was closed today. Classic Italian spot, and I feel they're a bit better than the rest at Valentino's. Didn't disappoint, expect 1.5x portion sizes, not bad for the prices. The dinner rolls are great, nice touch to stand out. Sweet and savory gravy, well seasoned. Only complaint was the Greek salad, probably wouldn't order it again, wasn't a fan of the feta they used and black olives. I have been a loyal customer of this pizzeria since I was 7 years old. I have fond memories of the previous owners and their children. The pizza is always great and the food is delicious, but sometimes the man behind the counter can be rude. I was scolded for bringing my plate to the counter, a habit I had since I was a child. Despite this, I still visit when I am in Flushing shopping, as I moved to Astoria 10 years ago. Most of the staff are locals and have been working there for years, so I assume the rude man must be related to the owner. I understand that he may be having a bad day, but his people skills leave much to be desired. Other than him, the service is decent. The food is amazing...

This pizza joint is a neighborhood gem. I've been a loyal fan for over a decade, and even though I've moved away, I still make the trek just for their pizza and garlic knots. Their garlic knots are soft, pillowy bites of heaven, bursting with garlicky flavor. Dip them in the side of marinara and it's a match made in food heaven. As a vegetarian, I’m very happy with the variety of slices. The grandma slice is my ultimate go-to, but don't sleep on their regular slice either, it's consistently solid and hits the spot, also highly recommend their eggplant slice if you’re feeling adventurous.
