Food is mediocre, service is slow and not attentive. Sitting outside when the weather is nice is great!Drinks need help.

This is the perfect spot to enjoy some beautiful views! Grab a seat on the deck, order a few drinks, and make sure to try the homemade pot pie—it’s absolutely delicious!

We come in from out of town to visit family, and we always love to go to Vernon's because of the excellent view of the lake, the delicious food, drinks, a wide variety of dishes to choose from for all ages.

They burned my catfish that tasted like cod. There was a child screaming to the top of her lungs the whole time and couldn't really hear the band because of that. I understand how children can be but, it was just not a good experience. Visualizza piatti

I had an incredible experience during my visit. The views were stunning, the staff was friendly, and the food was truly the best I've had in a long time. The Chicken Fried Steak was incredibly tender, and honestly, it's the best I've ever tasted in my 46 years. That means a lot coming from someone who knows good country food! Caution! The service was incredibly poor. It took 30 minutes just to get acknowledged and receive service. When we finally got our cocktails—a watermelon mojito and a cucumber jalapeño cocktail—they were both poorly mixed and lacked flavor. Our appetizer, the calamari, was so tough that we could hardly chew it. I do not recommend this restaurant, and I will never come back.

I never got to taste the food. We waited for 17 minutes without anyone acknowledging us before leaving. All the waitresses were hanging out by the bar. Two weeks later, we decided to give it another shot since we're new to the area. This time, we opted to sit at the bar to avoid the service issues we encountered previously. Unfortunately, the reviews about the staff's behavior are accurate based on my experience. One employee even sat next to me and suddenly seemed very interested in my purse.
