"Okay, so my first visit 4 months ago the bar was dirty and I didn't like the food. That was my opinion. BUT, today (7/14) was on a different level. My daughters brought me back for lunch before we went bowling. Everything was great, food, service, everything. It was when we went to pay the bill that we had an issue. The prices on the menu did not match the bill. We asked to have it corrected and one waitress said she was sorry and would fix it right away. Then she came back with another waitress who informed us that there was a price increase and they had yet to change the prices on the menu. She apologized and informed us that is the way it is. I enquired about what was just and fair and even asked how they would view the situation if they were in our shoes. We got shoulder shrugs and the statement of IDK. So, I then asked what the laws were here in WI regarding prices and what rights we have as consumers to be protected against this sort of practice. We were then informed that they had already spoken to the manager and the decision was that the price is the price and they hoped that we were okay with it. Well, we are not okay with that practice. My daughter sorted it out like this, we basically had to pay a fee just to come eat there... I explained to my kids that it wasn't about the money as we would've given it in the tip. But the bottom line is, that up until today this operation has basically hijacked its customers . Today we showed them that for consumers that pay attention they now are hijacking their employees too. Tomorrow my daughters will get another lesson about the importance of the WI Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. It is all about the principle..."

"Had reservations for dinner but thought we would have a drink before hand. We sat at the bar and waited for the bartender. A waiter came in and got some soft drinks. Another couple walked in and handed them menus as he looked at us, without menus, and told the couple the bartender would be there soon. Looked at us again and walked away. Thankfully that waiter did not wait on us for the rest of the night. Everything else was great. Would highly recommend Otto’s."

"1) **Taigu Cat Noodles** Absolutely incredible wok hei—there’s so much of it! The flavors are deliciously savory, perfectly complementing the proteins on top. The vegetables are chopped into small pieces, making it easy to scoop everything up with a spoon in one delicious bite. If you can only order one dish, make it this one. 2) **Pork Dan Dan Noodles** (I added eggplant) These longer noodles have a totally different appeal compared to the cat ear noodles. They’re cooked perfectly, somewhere between al dente and fully soft, giving them a wonderfully bouncy texture without being too tough. I loved the crispiness of the pork, and the thinly julienned veggies made it easy to pick up every bite with chopsticks! However, I must mention that this dish is incredibly salty—really, really salty. I struggled to taste the dan dan flavor as it was overwhelmed by the saltiness. I could only manage about half a scoop of the sauce with the noodles each time. Next time, I’ll definitely ask for less soy sauce and oyster sauce because, without the overwhelming saltiness, I know I could have devoured the entire dish! I also wished the eggplant had a bit more crispness; it was a bit mushy, which didn’t quite work with the crispy pork and chewy noodles."

"Disappointing. Been to their sister restaurant downtown but first time to this location. Waitress was no where to be seen. Appeared to only have tables with a forth table of people lingering long after paying their bill. We could see her chatting behind the computer by the kitchen. Food was ok. Two of our five items were good. The others were MEH! When booking our reservation I noted this was our anniversary and was disappointed we were placed between one large group with small children and one large party yet to arrive. I would not go back but will return to the downtown location. Considering our bill was for two people it was an underwhelming experience"

"Can’t say enough about our dining experience. Was a reunion of 4 couples school friends plus significant others. First off, the place is farmhouse gorgeous. Beautifully restored. Started at the bar where most of us got their specialty drinks, which were delicious and quite strong. Also an order of cheese curds that we all thought were excellent perfectly gooey with a very light, tempura like batter. Super friendly bartenders. Had dinner upstairs and while it was initially cold, especially by the window it is a stone building , they brought up a heater which warmed things up nicely. Many had the prime rib special, which they seemed to enjoy. I had the walleye, which was fine. The breading was crispy and the fish was moist and tender, but it was not particularly flavorful. My boyfriend had the cod. I never think to order cod as it doesn’t itself have flavor, but this cod was in the most delicious butter sauce with mussels. It was divine and because he had a flight out the next day, I got all the leftovers to myself!! We were too full for dessert, but two of us shared a peanut butter chocolate martini, made with peanut butter whisky ?! which we passed around and which was divine. I’ve never had anything like it. It starts off tasting like a regular chocolate martini but then finishes with the peanut butter flavor. Spectacular. I wish I remembered our servers name, but she was so personable and attentive. Separate checks was not a problem. I would highly recommend this place for a gathering for friends or family or even a cozy dinner for two. Will be back when in town."
