Great food, great cocktails, and an excellent staff…but please bring back the cool architectural menus! Also, let’s consider some music improvements! The mix was giving me 2013 mall-shopping flashbacks, and not in a good way.

This was our second visit to the Village Garage, and this was just as good as the first. The place is really beautiful inside, comfortable seating, great drinks, delicious food, and great staff. I didn’t have any but they also have a comprehensive offering of beers from some of the best local breweries. It is probably my favorite Bennington stop for food and drink.

We were pleasantly surprised! While the menu was not extensive, the quality of the dishes was exceptional. The drinks were delicious and perfectly balanced! We hesitated to visit for a long time, thinking it might be too "upscale" for our usual preferences, but we were completely mistaken! The interior is beautiful, blending rustic and industrial styles, with a large open garage door leading to the outdoor seating area. The waitstaff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.
