"Great tasting food with a wide selection of choices. Our young server was polite and courteous but perhaps a bit inexperienced. Lighting was not the best with dimly lit areas contrasted with bright harsh spots. All-in-all, it was a good experience. I am looking forward to returning to try many of the other menu selections."

"I wish I could give this place zero stars. The food is mediocre even on a good day, but if you come at the wrong time, you might end up with food poisoning from their leftover chicken or, worse, the mayonnaise they left out over the weekend. The quality of the food is questionable at best. Additionally, the manager, Barbie, is rude and quick to anger, showing a complete lack of the basic people skills and professionalism needed to run a restaurant. Unfortunately, their food made us sick today. I don’t usually leave reviews on Yelp, but I hope this will help others avoid the same mistake I made by dining here."

"Everything on the menu here is sooo good! But my favorite is the pulled pork street tacos. I am not a person who is usually full after three tacos (which is what the dish comes with), but with the rice and beans, I can eat only two and a half before I amstuffed. The food is so fresh. You can tell they made the pork that day from some special recipe they have. The pollo asado isalso delicious. Sometimes I sit at home just thinking about the tacos and I have to go get them. I definitely recommend thisplace. It's the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. No chain restaurant food here."

"I found House of Poolesville while looking for a bar to grab a drink and get some food and watch a few games with a friend. The restaurant has a few nice gardens on the grounds and the restaurant has a bar area and a sit down dining area. We sat at the bar and were greeted immediately. I ordered a few drinks and some sushi of the menu and my friend had two Asian dishes. While looking at some of the plants outside, a lady at the restaurant asked if we wanted to take some flowers home, which I thought was very nice. The food, drinks, and service were very good and I will stop in if I find myself in Poolesville again"

"I?ve had the pleasure of eating at this establishment several times, and never had a bad experience. It is your typical pizza/sub/wings spot that has something that everyone can enjoy. However, a mishap in the kitchen resulted in my Chicken parm being made without sauce. Let me take a moment to explain how such an un-thinkable moment in American Sandwich Cuisine history unfolded. It was a sunny hot day in May. I enter the establishment craving a chicken parm. On the menu, there is a sign saying ?all subs come with lettuce, tomato, and onion? Now, idk what barbarian gets toppings on a chicken parm, but most people would agree that a chicken parm is simply chicken, marina sauce, and cheese. I ordered my sub with ?nothing else on it.? To my displeasure, i received chicken on bread dry. No cheese. No sauce. My day was instantly was ruined. 3 stars"
