"Food was cold. The plate was warm but baked potatoe and mashed potatoes wouldn't melt room temperature butter. Our steak asked for medium rare came medium and was cold. My husband order black truffle butter for his steak wouldn't melt the steak was so cold. The waiter wasn't much better. Couldn't remember our drink orders. We asked for Johnny walker with soda water. He brought it with tap water. 68 dollars of scotch ruined. I asked for a cherry vodka sour, I don't know what I was brought but it wasn't a cherry vodka sour. The dessert was good. Not worth the money spent. Would never recommend to anyone."

Had the 50th Anniversary 1975 menu dinner, got to order from the 50 year old menu and pay the 1975 price! Food was spectacular. Had oysters on the half shell (6), French onion soup, king crab claw, veal w/crab legs, beef tenderloin on a mushroom cap and 2 fabulous desserts for $34. Waitress was great snd the restaurant was packed. Great evening out

As always, the Wendells experience was top-notch.  we always request to sit with John. He is our favorite waiter and does an amazing job. The only drawback on the food was it was a tad bit overdone and this time the meat seemed a little tough. We both had the steak Pecanha Pomme Fritz, the potatoes are sublime. My wife had the tortilla soup and said it was a tad bit spicy but still as always very good overall no regrets we love Inn of the Mountain Gods and our favorite restaurant is Wendell’s! Thank you so much.
