It is usually extremely busy in this place and there is a reason why. This casual and fresh atmosphere restaurant is one of Salem?s must go. The food is always good and the staff is also great. My favorites are the chicken wild pears pizza and the Pho-Dip.

We stopped in for a light lunch after a long day in the woods hiking.. Kip and I both had soups and salad as well as quiche. All was delicious Our server was polite and attentive. We took home two slices of this decadent cake with candied nuts and dried oranges. Mascarpone cream.... yummy

Many years ago I came here and it wasn't my favorite. I recently returned and I would say it was a 180 experience. Great menu, well prepared dishes and specials. Quality, service good . A bit of something for everyone. Cool bar you can pull up to for a quick lunch. Wr had a hummus Plate with veggies. I Had their Kalua pulled pork sandwiche with ginger slaw. Oozing for a place for a good brunch , as a vegan ,it is hard to find restaurants . This place is gonna be our favorite stop over in downtown Salem. The facility is clean and bright , very inviting to sit down enjoy your good coffee and relax. The food is great , we waited a little longer but foccacia kept us in a good company. My husband ordered plant based burger which is juicy and good with falafel pita chips and hummus on the side which is a bonus. I ordered house salad minus blue cheese and chose sesame ginger dressing which is to die for..very satisfying.. worth stopping by.

The food was delicious as always and made with the freshest ingredients. The prices are a bit high but you’re paying for the quality. The interior is casual rustic chic and is beautiful. But the service was not on par with the service I’m accustomed to from the Wild Pear. The older gentleman was not very friendly and we felt like he was always rushing off before we could ask him for a refill or ask him a question. He made us feel like we were bothering him rather than him making us feel welcome. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming though. We will definitely be back. We just hope we get a different server.

We have eaten at Wild Pear and ordered takeout several times and always had a good experience and great food. We ordered takeout this afternoon and it was very disappointing. The chicken in the enchilada casserole was so tough we ended up picking it out. The sweet potato fries were so soft they were practically mashed potatoes and you sent home the wrong desert. (I ordered the Guinness cake and received Black Forest). This was after you forgot to include the deserts when I first picked up the order and I had to go back to get them. I realize everyone has bad days but we just spent $70 plus on a dinner and did not enjoy it or feel like we received value for our money. Very disappointing! Visualizza piatti
