Delicious food and convenient walk-up window service. Expect a bit of a wait when cruise ships are in the area. The outdoor seating is lovely, situated on a bustling corner that's perfect for people-watching. I would definitely return!

The staff at this restaurant is wonderful! The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the team is friendly and welcoming. The place is clean, and they serve the best fresh fish in town! Yum, anyone?!? Halibut fish chips w crisp light coleslaw and homemade root beer is just what the doctor ordered for my husband after a day of touring Skagway. The giant red carb leg was so great and tasty! I ordered 6 oysters, as soon as after finishing, and it was good I ordered another 12 oysters. The service was great, and the environment was clean. Everything was incredible, but you absolutely have to try the bisque. I can't even find the words to express how fantastic the food was, especially after five days of cruise ship meals. My husband and I visited Woadie's after our ride on the White Pass train. We had a slight wait in line, but it went by quickly. We ordered a halibut sandwich, a cod sandwich, and a cup of Dungeness bisque to share. Both sandwiches were outstanding; the fish was fresh, crispy, and perfectly seasoned without being overcooked. The fries were also crispy and delicious, especially when drizzled with malt vinegar. The bisque was creamy and packed with flavorful crabmeat, corn, and peppers. We would absolutely stop here again!

Ate lunch here 9/18 (sorry for the typo) The halibut and salmon fish chips were not anywhere near as fabulous as were recommended, but never trust a tour bus driver, eh? I suggest you look elsewhere if halibut and salmon are on your gotta have menu. Sorry, Woadie. Update 10/6: I corrected the date as you pointed out and apologized for the typo. I stand by the rest of the review. How about you edit the stuff about “not saying you’re lying,” which where I come from means you’re calling me a liar. I went easy on your restaurant, sir. I honestly feel I gave a fair and accurate and accurate appraisal.

Place came highly recommended, so we gave it a shot. The way the local talked, we thought it was going to be a restaurant. We t was more of a covered picnic bench garden with an attached kitchen. You ordered your food and waited to be called for pick up. All of us enjoyed the meal except the menu is a bit limited. This made it tough as everyone wanted the crab bisque. At 4:30 , they were already out of the bisque. So, two people went for chicken tenders. I went for the averaged (aka expensive but seemed to be average for Alaska tourist areas) priced king crab legs and another person went for the oysters.
