"I ordered the 8-ounce ribeye with a loaded baked potato, Texas toast, and a side salad, while my wife and daughter went for the shrimp basket. We also saw some other tempting sides, like mac and cheese, as well as mashed potatoes with gravy. Everything looked delicious as it was being served. The portion sizes were generous, and the quick service was a definite plus, especially since we were on the move. We spent about 45 minutes there from the time we arrived until we left, which included ordering, dining, getting gas, and hopping back on I-35. The location is just west of the Loves station at the Eagleville exit. We would absolutely stop here again if we’re traveling through around mealtime. And I have to mention, the server was exceptional—you don’t come across such great service very often these days!"

Awesome food! We arrived 10 minutes after they were closed for lunchtime and was still welcomed in. My husband had the teenderloin and was more than he could eat. I had the taco salad and one of the best ones I’ve had as it wasn’t just lettuce. Very friendly staff and owner. Glad we found them. Wish our small town had a place like this to support! We stopped by for lunch after a Veterans Day program at the school and were pleased to find that they were generously offering free meals to all veterans. The options were chicken fried steak or meatballs, both served with mashed potatoes, green beans, and a homemade roll. I opted for the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. Our food arrived quickly, brought to us by the sweetest little server. It's clear that this is a family-run establishment. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff is incredibly friendly.
