"Definitely not worth it. I've never been to a true Japanese restaurant where miso soup or salad didn't come with your entree. I was surprised that the menu was so diverse in offering Hawaiian/Japanese fusion but was lacking in several traditional Japanese dishes. Missed the happy hour special by 5 minutes and although the restaurant was dead on a Sunday night, was seated at a 2-top table (just slightly a pet peeve). My "special" was more rice and broccoli than fish and crab which was shocking. Truly, there was enough rice and broccoli for family style."

Decent sushi, but could get more for my money at Osaka. Rolls were small and nigiri was tiny. Cool atmosphere though. And service was good too.

Good food and great drinks. The Catalina wine mixer is delicious, drink two for a fun time. The sushi is delicious and they feature a great happy hour. Visualizza piatti

This place has great, creative rolls.. Not super traditional, but everything is still tasty. I recommend trying the Nutty Thai Professor.. It has peanut butter in it! The bartenders are very friendly as well.

Some of the best sushi in town. It can take a while to get food, but it is always good. They have traditional rolls, and then some more experimental rolls. They have great deals on food during their Happy Hour. Visualizza piatti

Some yummy sushi! My sister and I took my niece here for her first time. She loved the volcano roll, which happens to be my favorite. The geisha had a very good chile sauce with it. We hit happy hour, 5 rolls, 3 happy stomachs, less than $50 tab. Which for those that eat sushi as much as I do, is pretty damn good!

Yokozuna has a great atmosphere and really good entrees. Their sushi rolls are not really for me (most contain something tempura which just doesn't do it for me in sushi), but LOTS of people do really love it so it's worth a try. Worthy place to stop in for a bite before a night out downtown or catching a show at the PAC. Plan ahead on weekends, it gets busy.

"This was an amazing place to eat. I was slightly intimidated but how packed it was but I soon found out that it was because of how delicious everything was! My fiance and I started off with a couple of drafts out of very large variety of beers and the waiter had no trouble recommending the perfect selections for us both. Our appetizer was the Cheese Curds with ranch and WOW absolutely amazing! They were like Mozzarella sticks that just didn't taste Italian. It went very well with the beers. Then we ordered our entrees: St. Patty's Melt with a side of Tabouli and South City Chicken with a side of Pub Fries. It's hard to go wrong with a patty melt but it was delicious none-the-less. We ordered it medium-cooked and it turned out perfectly. The Tabouli was something we have never had before - it was basically like salsa without the sauce, a very interesting side dish that wasn't quite up to our expectations. As for the South City Chicken, talk about a spicy succulence! The chicken was cooked very well and wasn't too thick or thin of a breast. It was covered in Pepper Jack cheese and salsa, giving it a very hot flavor that made my mouth water. I had them leave off the avocado since I'm not a huge fan, so that might have balanced out the zesty flavor a bit more. And of course the Pub Fries were super good - a delicious flavor, cooked just right and not too greasy. At the end, we had enough room in our stomachs for one of their decadent desserts: White Chocolate Chip Brownie served a la mode. The brownie came out very soft but not gooey and was super warm. The right amount of vanilla ice cream was placed on top, followed by a good amount of chocolate fudge dripped over the dessert with a fresh strawberry as extra. Very delicious! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and all the food and drinks came so fast - very little wait time. It was a cozy place to eat with the lights dimmed. All in all, a most fabulous place to eat! We will definitely go back again!!"
