"Made two pick up orders through grubhub. Both are confirmed by store and notify me that they were ready for pick up by the system. Went to the restaurant. Clerk said they only receive 1 order. After showing them the proof on the grubhub app, they made an make-up order, but I have to wait there for an extra 10+ minutes, which makes the scheduled pick-up order meaningless. It's purely the human error of the store. However, I receive no apology."

"Visited this place on a bet and left completely satisfied, although not because of the steak. It was my second time here, having previously enjoyed the prime slow roasted prime rib, which was deemed good enough. This time, I decided to switch things up and opted for the prime dry aged bone in New York steak. The dry aged element added a subtle twist to the steak, but it didn 't quite justify the choice. For a steakhouse, I wouldn 't come back for the steakhouse. Appetizers: Bread/Chips/Carbs Appetizer (complimentary) 5/5: Incredibly fluffy and amazing; I couldn 't resist asking for more. Hamachi Shots (6) 5/5: Bursting with flavor. A5 Wagyu Slider 5/5: One of the best sliders I 've ever had. Main Course: Prime Dry Aged Bone In New York 3/5: It was alright. It just wasn 't flavorful. I wished I had a heavy sauce for it but that 's just me. Wouldn 't come back again for steak. Desserts: Raspberry³ 4/5: Absolutely yummy. Cotton Candy (complimentary) 5/5."

"Dear Gyu-kaku, I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the service I received during my recent visit to Gyu-kaku on October 7 at 8:00pm. While I have had positive experiences at your restaurant in the past, this particular visit left me extremely dissatisfied. Upon entering the restaurant, I was seated at a table that was clearly inadequate for my party's needs. We had made a reservation for 10 people, but the table provided could only accommodate 8. This immediately set the tone for our experience. To make matters worse, a waitress (not my main waitress) rushed us through the meal. She told us to put food to our places so she can have spaces to put more trays of meat. However, this is BBQ and the food just arrived within 5 mins. The meat hasn't even done yet to be edible. I asked her to set the trays at another table and we can grab them when we're done with our current plates. She said she couldn't do that and we must divide the food now so she could have spaces to set more trays. It was very reasonable to rush your customers through the meal. We're paying for our dinings. Gyu-kaku is a place to enjoy high quality Japenese food, and the service should uphold the standards of its high quality, not this rude and unprofessionalism. I value the dining experiences I have had at Gyu-kaku in the past, which is why I am particularly disappointed by this recent visit. I believe that the issues I have outlined above do not align with the high standards I have come to expect from your establishment."

"Came here for a quick lunch. Just by Looking at their menu, I had a feeling this would be an authentic tasting and I was not wrong. I ordered 1 skewer Kobieeda (cheapest item) and it tasted very good. Now, it doesn't mean they are the best out there but that was a nice experience, and I yet to try the rest of their offering. They have a big menu for different flavours; with that a higher price tags too. The prices honestly did make me hesitant and I was about to leave before falling on the Kobieeda. Customer service was good for the most part but not wonderful the truth is and was a bit slow. I definitely was hoping for a complimentary tea which is standard in persian restaurants but I was in a rush so didn't have time anyhow. That's said, I'm eager to try rest of their menu in the near future so this place will have an updated review next time I pass by and try rest of the items..."

"I recently took my colleagues to Lock Chun for lunch, and we were thoroughly impressed by the fantastic food. The hot and sour soup was exceptional, and we also enjoyed the fresh garlic green beans, chicken chow mein, chicken salad, and Mongolian beef. Everything was fresh, hot, and incredibly flavorful, making it a perfect way to celebrate a successful year with our team. I highly recommend Lock Chun for some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had at such a reasonable price. The service is excellent, and it's easy to get in and out quickly. Although parking can be a bit tricky and the location isn't the most glamorous, the food more than compensates for it. My personal favorite is the chicken salad, which is a perfect blend of lettuce, chicken, peanuts, and just the right amount of spice. The dishes are consistently fresh and flavorful, without being heavy or greasy. I particularly love their salted fish—it's a light, crispy delight with a hint of chili pepper and salt. Their stir-fried green beans and hot and sour soup are also outstanding. In all my visits, I have never been let down by any dish. Lock Chun is a great place to bring your family for quality, fresh food in a comfortable setting. I highly recommend trying it!"
