"We've been dining at Zen Toro since their downtown location, then followed them to Davis. The owner, Masa and his wife were always so friendly and accommodating....Not to mention that the food was always Excellent! Now their son Scott and his wife Amy run the restaurant and continue to deliver Delicious food. We live in Sacramento and never hesitate to drive to Davis to eat at Zen Toro when we're in the mood for delicious Japanese food!!"

Good. Sushi was generous as was the roll I had. Spicy Tuna nuggets were loved by all of us. The Tempura combo was a disappointment to one of our party. Service was slow on a Saturday night, but they accommodated us without a reservation with only a 5 minute wait for a table. Very nice!
