"Delicious Japanese American/Hawaiian restaurant! This great little diner is tucked in the front of a local bowling alley and serves great Japanese American/Hawaiian food. They serve many Japanese and Asian dishes, as well as American diner fare, including breakfast dishes and sandwiches. The coffee shop includes Hawaiian staples into several of their dishes (e.g. Loco Moco, Portuguese sausage, Kalua pork, saimin noodles, etc. . The diner food is great too I had the chili rice and the chili was very tasty, and I consider myself a chili connoisseur. But the Japanese dishes are delicious as well. Their menu is very complete and robust. Tremendous find. The venue is a bit small, so probably no large parties. But, if you want some good Japanese American/Hawaiian food, or diner dishes, come check out Gardena Bowl Coffee Shop."

"Great food. I had the lemon dream pancakes, which were delicious. Only concern is that while we were waiting outside for a table we received a text that our table was ready but when we entered the restaurant we were told our table was not ready. We had approximately another 15 minutes to wait for our table. Once seated our orders were taken right away and our food and drinks came out quickly."

"From the start, it was clear that he lacked accountability and any sense of customer service. When I checked my receipt, I noticed that my total was different from my co-workers'. After asking about the discrepancy, he informed me that his system applies a certain percentage for pricing, which made it seem like he was overcharging us. As I pressed for clarity, he became agitated and began to yell at us, claiming he had given us the wrong menus. He explained that the prices on the to-go menus hadn’t been updated in six months. I felt thoroughly disrespected and uncomfortable due to an error that was clearly his responsibility. He snatched the menus from us and shouted, frustrated that we asked for the correct change based on the prices we were initially shown. I understand that everyone has off days, but raising your voice in your own establishment over a pricing issue of your own making is simply unprofessional and disrespectful. Because of this experience and the lack of accountability on his part, I will never return to this restaurant; I also cannot recommend it to my colleagues or anyone else. The owner needs to seriously work on their customer service and respect for clients. It's worth noting that we did accept the food after all of this, but in hindsight, I should have returned it and left right after that initial encounter."

"This is a lovely spot for family outings or catching up with friends. I was truly impressed with the overall experience here. The place was clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The prices are reasonable, and the food was delicious! They have two separate rooms for kids, allowing them to have fun and make new friends while you relax and enjoy your time. There's a small fee for the kids' area, but it's definitely worth it! We held a women's Bible study and were fortunate to have the private room in the back, which was fantastic. The owners were wonderful as well! I highly recommend this place. For my meal, I had the grilled chicken quesadilla, which was bursting with flavor, especially with the delightful sauce they drizzle on top—it really elevates the dish!"
