"I swing through Savannah regularly and I 'm always looking for something new and different. The name Alligator Soul caught my attention as I walked past the place, so I checked out the posted menu. When I saw the Alligator Chorizo Mac and Cheese, I thought That 's definitely different . I had to try it. What a fantastic meal! It?s in a basement but it?s romantic and cozy. Service was great and attentive. Drunken mussels and gumbo were awesome and the elk chop was cooked nicely. Glad I got the banana beignet. It?s gone in two minutes.

Great experience. Server knew her stuff and offered just enough communication. Dinner was well thought out and timed perfectly. Antelope was great and glad I risked it. Suggest surf n turf as the shrimp were fire. My wifes scallops were perfectly done. Highly suggest this place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

(no offense to the Grey we had antelope, alligator and a ribeye in the same meal (pics below the service was amazing our waiter was incredibly engaging and knowledgeable. The food was different and delicious. This is luxury gourmet dining... and if you don 't know its there you will miss it. Very cool speakeasy entrance. View menu

The service was phenomenal. The food was phenomenal. The drinks were phenomenal. The desserts were phenomenal. Did I mention the service was phenomenal?! Second time at this place and it was as great, if not better, than the last. Highly recommend this place. Most people don?t adhere to the dress code but you should because it?s an incredibly beautiful place. Everything about this place was exceptional.

Lovely dining experience. Went here for our 5 year anniversary and the service and food are great. We were pleasantly surprised that the entrance is below ground. There's stairs below the sign that led us to a below ground entrance...I found that cool and cute. The staff was great and good was amazing. If I ever go back I'll make sure to get the alligator chorizo Mac n cheese all to myself and not share. The ribeye was good BUT I think I enjoyed the Mac n cheese even

"We had a good experience, we went for my daughter and she adopted the experience! Our waitress seemed new, but sweet. I would recommend her listening a little more closely as we wanted to start with drink orders and rather than taking our order, she walked away to get everyone waters. She was really keen on wanting to tell us the history of the location and things in the tea house but I would recommend knowing more about the menu items and as she couldn't explain what was in their chicken salad. (Which kind of made me laugh as the menu was very descriptive of everything else. The chicken salad was good, the hot cocoa could have been more chocolatey. My son had the salmon entree while my daughter had the salmon sandwich and both enjoyed their meals. The soup of the day was a white chicken chili and it smelled amazing but it was a bit too salty for me. My son's girlfriend seemed to enjoy her bowl of it. My husband had the quiche and seemed to enjoy it as well as the pots of tea he shared with our daughter as well as the shared the tea sandwich platter for the table. The favorite for the family was the cherry almond scones. So my h so that my daughter got an order of them to go. However only two of the three were the flavor she ordered as they ran out, so she was stuck with a vanilla scone. She was slightly disappointed because she enjoyed the cherry almond so much but has yet to try the vanilla. The waitress heard we were celebrating a graduation, a birthday, and an anniversary so she was sweet to bring out some complimentary blueberry mini muffins, however the timing was off as three of the five family members had already departed as I waited for the check. It was a very sweet and appreciated gesture. The timing was just off. It was cool to learn that those employed at the tea room were all SCAD students. Overall it was a good experience. I felt it was a bit pricey and the service seemed slower than it should have been as they weren't busy. But my daughter had a wonderful experience and that was appreciated. The decor was beautiful and really neat to hear the history of."
