"A colleague brought me to this restaurant for a late dinner meeting. I had never experienced West African cuisine before, and I was extremely impressed!! You have the option to dine in or take out. Instead of a traditional waiter serving your dish to your table, you are called over to a pick-up window to collect your tray. Self-service is the norm here. The food arrived promptly, tasted fresh, and was incredibly delicious. It was so good that I even ordered another plate to go. If you find yourself in Brooklyn and craving authentic West African cuisine, definitely check out this place!"

The food was excellent and the staff was pleasant. I wish I got some hot sauces for my lamb but even without it everything was delicious.

Do not bother! I placed an order at 1:02 pm and received it at 5:01 pm. The food did not include enough protein. We Africans complain about the rising prices, but how can we when the service is not taken seriously?

eating here is like what I can imagine that manna tastes like the israelites. the Baobab drink is heavenly. the guinea fowl is somehow fried and barberqued at the same time. I had all kinds of delicious fish and stuff here. spicy or mild, just let them know. everything is delicious. View menu

The Thiebou dieune is great but the dibi is too dry and there is no customer service for indoor dining. You actually have to go to the counter to make an order and anything you need you gotta go ask. They don't welcome or sit you down but as long as the food is good, I'm not worried. Feed back from a fellow Senegalese.

This is some of the best food I've had in NYC. I didn't know what to order but I got some lamb dish and another with chicken and millet. The millet was so fine and delicious, I've never had it like that. The food is so packed with flavor. The craziest thing is that when the chef gave us the food, she said, I hope you like it Well, I not only like it, I love it!!! Highly recommend!!!

I had an outstanding first experience at this restaurant, but my second visit was disappointing because my dish wasn't prepared correctly. When I returned, they offered to refund my money, but I chose to have my food replaced instead. The cashier and the gentleman were very kind and accommodating. I'll definitely be coming back! It's a fantastic local spot—let's support small businesses! View menu

eating was old, I waited 3 hours almost 4. They sent me an old food and when I asked for my refund or discounted, he played me. every time I call, he does something, soon to post the pictures sick. old salad with eggs in it. I also have to wait 3 hours. you are not playing with your customers. because the business survives thanks to the customers. You gave me your number to eat you for a new meal or call you money, and now you act like you don't know me. good luck, dear!

This Senegalese restaurant serves amazing food, especially their delicious lamb dishes. The staff, particularly the friendly woman at the counter, took great care of us during our meal. The roasted lamb was flavorful and scrumptious, and the rice on the side had the perfect amount of spice. The portion size was so generous that I was able to take home more than half of it and enjoy it over the next few meals. Overall, this restaurant is an excellent hidden gem in Bedstuy.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
