"Nice restaurant where they take care of all the details, provide excellent service and the portions are good in quantity, the pesto was wonderful and the frutti di mare too. We felt very comfortable, highly recommended, you could tell that everything was homemade, including the bread. I just didn't like that they charged €3 for a cover but we would still repeat. "A nice cafe that actually serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and so it's more like a restaurant. We settled for this cafe as they have a nice outdoor seating facing the sea and the breakfast crowd was just leaving. To be honest, we didn't expect too much from the food but when it came, we were pleasantly surprised. Not only did it looked good, it tastes very well too. Service is a little slow but at these places, I guess your supposed to relax and take your time. They allowed smoking in the outdoor seating which is good for smokers."

"sembra essere all'interno di una grande serra in cima al mondo questo luogo che domina il golfo del tigullio con una vista mozzafiato su Rapallo, Santa Margherita,Portofino e tutte le montagne intorno. Siamo nella località sant'ambrogio di zoagli e intorno ci sono bande di ulivi e verdi ovunque. È meraviglioso mangiare nel calore naturale del sole perché le finestre producono l'effetto serra caldo e anche in inverno non c'è bisogno di riscaldamento. Ma terribilmente seducente è quello di cenare in estate quando la sera cade e nel cielo le luci spettacolari appaiono e, aprire le finestre, si percepisce, da un lume di candela, un raffreddatore di serotina. .i piatti sono tutti eccellenti e il mosto è il pesce, ad esempio l'ombra al Mediterraneo, ma anche i dolci sono sublimi, come la briciola di mele con gelato. le due querce sono chiamate così per le due piante secolari nella chiesa di Sant'Ambrogio, anche da lì incredibile vista!"

"We walked in at 8:30 after swimming and kayaking in portofino and walking all the way to santa marguerita. We were not dressed for t occasion but the tall waitress were so kind to seat us with t lemon trees in t rear where t garden of t restaurant is . I like my champagne very cold and very fizzy and instead of serving me a glass of t open bottle that was in t fridge she opened a new cold bottle for me . So kind again ! She is the one that takes your order and knows everything . The others are more like super nice busboys and girls . The fish soup was carefully made, not too fishy and not too salty but super flavorful. We asked for raw garlic to eat it w t toast and t soup like in Provence and our wish was promptly attended with no hesitation again! My sister loves tequila but since they didnt have a selection the tall waitress came again and recommended a dry grappa bianca. I ate the pate de fois gras which was very well prepared and my sister indulged with very fresh oysters , clams and the snail i forgot t name that we always eat in Portugal . Thank you du Coq for being so nice to your customers. I dont know why the one star review had such a bad time there ! What a pity : ."
