"Step back in time to 1933 at this hidden gem. The bar is cozy and can seat only 15 patrons, creating an intimate atmosphere. The phone is constantly ringing, and the bartenders efficiently relay orders to the kitchen through a microphone. The beer is always fresh and ice-cold, with a constant flow of customers coming in for takeout. We tried a 12-cut pizza, half schamutz/Romano and half sausage with hot peppers. The schamutz is delicious, featuring fresh tomatoes that complement the aged Romano perfectly. The sausage is thinly sliced, and the hot peppers provide just the right balance of spice and brininess.
