"Cafe Olympia 55, located near our Midtown hotel, seemed popular with locals grabbing breakfast—we only visited for breakfast. The food was generally good with plenty of variety. My kids especially loved the fresh berries and yogurt. One major plus was the seating—real tables both indoors and outdoors, not just uncomfortable stools, which is a rare find in the city. Service was quick and efficient, though not very warm, but that’s typical NYC. The only downside was the price—$70 for breakfast for four. A tip: the counter service for omelettes and sandwiches is reasonably priced; it’s the buffet that gets expensive. Overall, it’s a decent spot if you want to sit down and enjoy good food, just consider the extra cost as a cover charge."

Consistently rude staff and bad quality. Also everything is ridiculously overpriced. Not worth it.

Would give zero if possible. Horrible customer service. Extremely rude staff and pricing always changes.

I had a disappointing experience with the staff when I was served the wrong order. When I pointed out that I hadn’t ordered the deluxe option, the cook responded rudely, making faces and looking visibly upset. I don’t want to spend my money at a place that treats customers like that. On the bright side, the food was quite good, deserving a 4 out of 5. View menu

I don’t know who trains the staff there but the customer service is unbelievably horrible. Each time my experience just worsens. Today is the last day I set foot in this establishment. I stood there while no one assisted and they proceeded to throw away all the breakfast food right in front of me indicating what I assume means they’ve stopped serving breakfast. I am in shock of how I was treated.

Closer to 3.5 stars but the prices give it the extra. It's got a hot/cold open food station (pay by the pound), sandwiches, noodle station in the back, salads and smoothies. Prices are essentially pre-pandemic which you can't find anymore. Dishes (a similar style nearby eatery) has better tasting and quality food, but you're paying 1.5x the price. If I'm in the area for lunch, I will come in for a sandwich.

Cafe Olympia 55 is my favorite spot for acai bowls. I always make sure to get there before 9:30 am to catch the incredible staff member who makes them. He does an excellent job, and the peanut butter and fruit bowl is consistently made with fresh ingredients. I wish I could enjoy it any time of the day! I've also noticed that many construction workers stop by. The only downside is the absence of air conditioning, so I tend to skip visits when it's hot outside. View menu

Salads are good and good pricing but having one person working 3 stations is insane and unacceptable in midtown Manhattan. Staff consistently walked past me and ignored. I asked the person at register and they brushed me off. It's a shame, it's a great salad. But what good is it when you're in the middle of your busy day and need to wait 15 minutes just to have someone acknowledge your existence. This is why people pay extra for chopt. Talk about a place where people hate their job. Bro if you're unhappy working here . Leave , don't make the customers lunch break hell .. I asked for a simple Philly steak with provolone and lettuce.. they made whatever they wanted .. check your food before you leave is all I can say. It's time they shut this place down .. my dog just threw this sandwich out .. side note I saw people sampling the food bar without washing their hand and one person even put it back after smelling it . Workers don't care unless one of the top bosses is around ...next virus will come from this place I DO NOT WANT TO GIVE IT ONE STAR ....

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
