"If I could give this place zero stars, I would! It's an absolute disaster. Just one week before my sister's wedding, which has 150 guests, the owner decided to back out of catering after months of discussions and agreements. My sister's fiancé had to chase this guy down for confirmation, only to hear him say, "That's life," before hanging up on him. Now we're in a panic trying to find a way to feed all these people. This guy has left us hanging and is pocketing a good amount of money due to his poor communication and consideration for our family. Don't even think about hiring him as your caterer—I haven't even tasted his food, but if this is how he runs his business, I can only imagine it's terrible. ZERO stars, and I strongly urge anyone who reads this not to support this guy and his establishment!"

Passing through Driggs make sure you stop in to Capt Ron's! He was out of baby back but we tried everything else between the 4 of us and hands down nothing missed!

This roadside BBQ shack is a must-visit! I had a fantastic brisket sandwich that was incredibly flavorful. The brisket was juicy, and it came on a nice brioche bun. Definitely worth a stop!

This place is incredible! I used to hate pickles, but that changed because of this restaurant. The pickles are fantastic, and the Tri-Tip sandwich is the best I've ever had! It's a must-visit for anyone looking to eat here!

We stopped at this roadside BBQ stand on our way through town, it was so so good. The Pork and Slaw sandwich was HUGE and the Smoked Turkey Sandwich was amazing. The coleslaw was SOOO good, creamy, tangy, and worth getting extra!! Totally recommend youstop in too!!

This might seem unusual for a BBQ restaurant, but they serve the best veggie burger I've ever tasted. Be sure to add bacon to it! The flavors and quality here are consistently outstanding, and everything is cooked to perfection. You absolutely have to try the boom boom sauce—it's delicious! View menu

Great BBQ at the foothills of the Tetons. Highly recommend checking out Ron 's place, gotta try their hotdogs too! Plain Ole Dog, got mustard, ketchup, fresh homemade pickles, buttered and toasted bun, and quality pork dog. So good I had to orderanother to go Zach Attack, jalapeno burger is a must try if you like a little kick. Cream cheese from the jalapeno popper, bacon, and sauteed onions. Filled me up in that classic 'burger at work ' way Brisket sandwich, I recommend asking with lesssauce, because it honestly doesn 't need it. Juicy meat, and all the sides will do you fine. A little pricey but I think it 'splenty worth the quality See photos below

Attending an event should be a delightful experience, but our recent encounter with Capt Ron's Smokehouse turned out to be a nightmare. The BBQ we received was not only cold, but it also caused my daughter to suffer from food poisoning, which is completely unacceptable. Honestly, if I wanted to buy raw meat from Costco and slather it with BBQ sauce, I’d have done just that. This was meant to be a professional catering service, and it fell far short of expectations. I strongly advise potential customers to think carefully before choosing Capt Ron's for their events. Safety and quality should always be top priorities in the food industry, and it seems this establishment has neglected both.

"Major kudos to these guys! Sunday myself and my other pilot where heading to the airport to meet our clients to fly them home. Enroute we learned that catering at our fuel stop had fallen thru. We found this place by doing a quick search for food and called to see if there was anything they could do. It was 7:30am and we were literally driving by while on the phone with them. They said they could put something together for us. We walked in as the one girl behind the counter was taking care of seated customers, serving them breakfast (which looked amazing! She and whomever was in the kitchen (the only people there had us walking out 15 minutes later with a complete lunch (during breakfast time of 12 sandwiches (4 different types and accompanying potato salad, green salads and all the flatware and fixings to go with it, all while still taking care of their breakfast patrons. We were beyond amazed and appreciative. Fast forward a few hours when we broke out the food. We were amazed again with what they put together! They obviously use nothing but top quality produce and prepared everything as if it was to be served on a plate in their diner. The sandwiches were even toasted when we had said we would be happy with just cold. Clearly they had no desire in compromising their standards, even for a last second rush job! Needless to say, there were 6 VERY happy passengers and 2 more than happy and impressed pilots! Everything tasted wonderful! These guys saved our butts and made us look like rock stars to boot. I hope we get a chance to pass through again because we plan to make sure to stop in for a sit down meal and experience more of what they have to offer! Please check this place out and give them your business, they are top notch!!"
