"This was sincerely the most delightful food experience we have ever had in Italy, and probably top 5 ever. Chef is amazing at showing restraint and letting each dish have balance. He also started so subtle and worked up to big flavours. Using fresh, seasonal foods he certainly gave us an experience to remember. The only comments I have are that the drive up the mountain is hard in the dark (especially for those of us unfamiliar with driving in the hills we did it but were a bit frazzled. Going down was MUCH easier. Also, we found it odd that the 6 and 9 course dinners didn’t offer a wine tasting to go with at a set price. Our waiter offered to pair, but having no idea what the price would be we chose a bottle instead (which the waiter recommended and was amazing. In the summer apparently you sit al fresco outside and that sounds lovely."

"Rosa Maria was an absolute delight! She made great suggestions for food, wine and dessert which were on point with what i wanted my experience to be. The presentation, the quality and the overall experience was certainly 5 Stars Worthy! Let me be the first to say that No dish in the entire menu is more than €18, so anyof the reviews that say other wise or that say the price is too high... It isn't. I had the Penne Primavera, Mix Salad, Sparkling water, Glass of Chardonnay, and the Pistachio icecream and the total was €29.00 I couldn't be happier with my experience, the price and most certainly the Food! I HIGHLY recommend ANYONE to come and enjoy the Great Food!"

"given the other reviews I have had great expectations, but in the end they are ocita here with little satisfaction. the place is quite cozy, you have to go on purpose is not very visible, but it is located inside the hotel area. I would suggest a larger and readable sign of entry. I do not lie in the norm anything special, but I will be unlucky, since the waitress told me that it changes according to what they have. So maybe I'll try to come back, I'll be luckier. we have taken sea appetizer containing also a caponatina of swordfish, then we order a swordfish where we find the same caponata put on. we did not find much imagination in this, then a very dry and too wise gratin also here little original and not very good unfortunately. the pasta instead has been done well, good food abundant the seasoning and plentiful part. for dessert unfortunately we had to wait too long, never seemed to arrive. but we accepted the apologies, but also in this case a Catalan cream not performed well, cooked instead very well. ratio quality price right for raw materials or sin for running a little flat and not perfect. but I repeat perhaps I will return and I will be happy to say otherwise, because the potential still exists. I recommend it for those who do not have too many complaints."

"Going to Messina and finding us in the area at lunchtime, we stopped casually at 'A Cuccagna... An excellent surprise, welcoming owners, sandwiches and salad with very fresh ingredients and just km0 as they explained, since they arrive from the garden a few meters from the local. "Last night, recommended by acquaintances, we decided to have pizza in this place. We opted for 2 pinsas, one with cherry tomatoes, porcini mushrooms, mozzarella and raw ham, and the other with bacon, mozzarella, pistachio pesto and I don't remember if there was anything else. And then a Margherita pizza so you can also taste the classic pizza. As a true Roman, I can safely say that pinsa have nothing to envy of the traditional ones, on the contrary... perhaps they are even better. The same goes for pizza. Ingredients of very good quality, excellent dough with long leavening. While we waited for the preparation which was very quick, the pizza chef who I believe was also the owner, explained to us with great care how he works his dough and the attention in choosing the raw materials. Vote 10!!! Both for the products they offer and for the education, friendliness, professionalism and friendliness of those who work there. A truly pleasant experience and certainly a point of reference for the future. Really good."
