On an very hot and donutless stretch of the empire state trail between Albany and Hudson, this was an amazing stop. The donuts tasted great and not too sweet, the iced cold brew coffee was cold and really refreshing. The outdoor tables were nice and shady and the owner even gave us ice for our water bottles before we left.

Shop is really awesome, great place, service was nice too. Coffee was ok. Wasn’t too impressed with the Boston cream. The chocolate ‘topping’ was more of an icing than really chocolate, and the filling wasn’t a pastry cream, it was definitely vanilla pudding. The pastry itself however, was cooked well. prices, they’re affordable, and it will certainly please a lot of folks.
