"the chicken was small and overcooked, the apple came from a snack cup that was taken off with the lid, and my father ended up with a glass water with a huge fly in it. when he referred it to the waiting staff, the only answer was that it was not there when I brought it out; what do you want, because I bring you another water her fried chicken was astonishing earlier, not the case anymore."

"Great outside seating that allows WELL BEHAVED dogs. We encountered a group with two yapping ankle-biters that quickly exited once their dogs went into a non-stop barking tirade. Food was typical bar food but there are many other choices we'd like to try on our next visit. They have a very extensive list of craft beers. Parking can be a challenge."

"First time at a Cracker Barrel and not disappointed! Not sure why I was under the impression that the portions would be larger but it was just the right size. The food is very good and well priced for the portions. Service very friendly and quick. Connecting store to find cute and nostalgic stuff in."

"So I read the reviews and wasn't expecting it to be great.... But c'mon mannnn. Order Belgium waffles for my wife, it's just a plain thick rubbery waffle (threw it away). Micky mouse pancakes for the kid, it's a plain pancake with 3 pieces of old hard canned pineapple. Farmers skillet was alright lots of cheese but very greasy and potatoes were extra dry, bacon was hard and chewy. Staff was nice and all but I'll never eat here again, waste of money."

"I went to eighteen with 3 girlfriends to celebrate our friend graduating from nursing school. The interior is very nice, located right in the Byward market. We knew this was a fine dinning restaurant and it lived up to those expectations with with a courteous waiter, friendly sommolier and a cool, calm atmosphere. There menu was new and very original dishes were offered including a duck dish prepared two ways and black cod. My friends ordered the fois gras for an appetizer, served on brioche with marscapone filled cherries; I tried some and it was delicious. My meal was the beef tenderloin and I choose the fries and mushrooms as my sides. It was excellent, perfect cut of beef, cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. The fries and mushrooms paired perfectly with it and were equally delicious. My friends ordered the duck and they said it was very good as well. Our waiter also presented my friend who graduated from nursing school with a lovely dessert with "Congratulations" written on the plate in chocolate, compliments of the house. Such a nice touch to a lovely meal."
