"We were looking for a place to eat, and for some reason everything was closed at noon, however we found this restaurant which serves customized burgers. They didn't disappoint, the hamburgers were great, I was not expecting such quality, so we left happy to continue on the road. The sauce that came with the chips was not the best, but good, though."

"Ho recomano al 100%. Cal Batlle és un restaurant típic de Manlleu: una masia reformada amb molt d’encant. Es pot menjar tant a dins (hi ha aire acondicionat com a fora (la terrassa està molt bé . Vam fer menú de migdia entre setmana: per 14€ hi ha entrants, primer plat, segon plat, postres i beguda. El menjar era molt bo, sobre tot els plats que estan fets a la brasa. A més, ens han dit que el menú el canvien cada dia (hi ha molta varietat . L’establiment net i el personal molt amable. No en tinc cap dubte: hi tornarem."

"Not sure what Manlieu has to offer as this was a quick stop-over en-route up north just to find good food. A quick search on TripAdvisor found us this little gem off the market-place and we were absolutely delighted. Here I discovered melon soup with serrano ham and have been trying different recipes trying to re-create this little taste of heaven ever since! Hubby had a light pasta and I had a salad main with marinated tomatoes, every bite was more delicious than the next. The staff did not speak one word of English and trying to order in pocket translation-book Spanish was a trial but fun. After lunch take a walk around the local food market to see some rare and interesting local delicacies like bull's testicles!"

"Restaurante especializado en carnes (no hay un solo plato de pescado en la carta). Las mesas demasiado juntas unas con otras. La comida está bien pero muy básica. Ningún toque fuera de lo normal. El personal es muy amable y el precio normal. El entorno es muy bonito. De haber tenido tiempo hubiéramos dado un paseo por los alrededores."
