"This was my first time trying dim sum and I came to this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. I have to say, I absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. I particularly loved the lotus leaf rice dumpling and the pan-fried pork beans. The staff was also very polite. They have a wide variety of options to choose from, all of which look delicious. This was a unique experience that I will not soon forget."

The pork egg congee is soooo good. The best congee I have had in Houston, TX. I’ll be coming back!

Great people and fantastic food. Can get loud with how busy they are, but that is a small trade-off for the great culinary experience

No frills dim sum with quick service. Wait staff is really attentive. Price is reasonable. Highly recommend over the busier spots in town. View menu

It was a great experience! I enjoyed a comfortable meal for $40 per person. The restaurant was bustling with a good crowd, and the atmosphere was wonderful.

Not sure why the reviews are 4/5. The taro puff was cold. The chicken feet were sitting in this jello like sauce. The sticky rice was just that, no meat. What a disappointment.

The taste is very good and authentic. Every dish came out hot, which we like a lot. Not a fancy, nor nicely decorated restaurant, but the price is very reasonable, compared to other places. This will be our to-go place when it comes to dim sum. View menu

The food at this restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. I recommend getting the jasmine hot tea to help wash down the heavy dishes. The wait time, even on a Sunday morning, was not long at all. The service was quick and efficient.

This location is tucked into the shopping strip mall here in Houston’s Chinatown. About 25-30 tables in this establishment. I made a takeout order. Ambiance: staff was attentive although not super chatty. It was clean although the location could use some new carpet or a serious cleaning. Chinese music playing in the background is a nice touch.

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
