"This was our first visit to Emzy, and we will definitely be back. The atmosphere is a bit noisy due to the small size of the restaurant, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. I ordered the eel roll and the volcano roll, both of which were outstanding. My wife tried the jewelry box roll; she felt it could have used a bit more seasoning, but she enjoyed it nonetheless. My only minor complaint is that the dining area is small, which can affect your table selection. Our table was right by the front entrance, and we experienced a chilly draft every time someone walked in. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience."

I had lunch with three friends and we were fortunate to arrive before noon, as the restaurant got crowded quickly. We all ordered sushi, which was quite good. If I could give a rating of 3.5 stars, I would. The sushi had a bit too much rice, but overall it was satisfying.

Grabbed lunch here and ordered several things from the menu. The food was delicious. Very flavorful, well presented and cooked to perfection. The service was awesome. Ate during busy lunch period and food was served prompt. Staff were polite and friendly, and prices reasonable. No immediate parking available but plenty of seating indoor only.

Out of all of the Asian restaurants in Charlotte, this is my favorite! The ambiance is chic, the food is amazing, and the price won't break the bank. The calamari is the best I've ever had. I had the basil chicken as an entree.......FANTASTIC! To top it off, I had the molten lava cake which was another winner! Will most definitely be back soon. View menu

There's not a lot going on Friday night in Charlotte. But we had great sushi. Tons of variety. Love the dynamite roll! Calamari was tasty, topped with onions peppers which added another layer of flavor. Also had the Katsu sandwich which was such a delight. And who doesn't love udon noodles. This whole experience was just yum! And to top it off the staff was so attentive. Manager checked in with us. Waiter, Green, was so nice and helpful. Took time to explain the menu and make suggestions.
