"Loved this place! Quaint, straight forward, and simple good-tasting barbeque. I got their Bull a Pig sandwich, which had provolone cheese on it, with chunks of pork, and slice of ham. It wasn't a chincy micro burger. Cheesy potatoes filled up the cracks along with a soda to wash it all down. There was a distinct charbroil taste. Then, I doctored it with my taste of bbq sauce. In all of Kearney, NE there isn't a joint this good for the money. This place ought to be proud! "Let me preface by stating that we visited on a Sunday afternoon, so we were dealing with a very stereotypical after-church crowd, angrily clamoring around the buffet like a flock of seagulls in Karen wigs and high class fishing shirts. As a result, we opted for menu service. 1. Appetizers: chips were lamp warmed on the top layer, obviously refrigerated below that. Cheese dip was basically plain white cheese (I'm guessing that's appropriate for the clientele. 2. Main dishes were fine. Kind of room temperature, but inoffensive. 3. Servers were pleasant, and the place was clean."

"Highly disappointed. We asked for fresh guacamole and we're told okay but never received it. My daughter told them how she wanted her food and they did what they wanted compared to doing as she asked also did not get our drinks refilled until we asked someone who was not our waiter. And then went to pay I put a 0 dollar tip because the person did horrible and did not deserve a tip. They decided to add 3 dollars anyways!! Not only will I never return I'll tell everyone I know what they did. It's not about the 3 dollars it's about the fact they think they can decide what someone spends even when they don't agree to it."

"My husband and I went here for lunch this afternoon. We stood at the door for roughly 4-5 minutes before being sat, while the restaurant had less than 6 tables with people at them. We were sat, and promptly greeted and given drinks. The waiter was friendly and joked around with us. However, a group of people he knew were sat shortly after us, and thats where service declined. We had our order taken (2 people) BEFORE his group of 5 friends. They received their food about 10 minutes later, and we still had not gotten anything. We also received no chip or drink refills. That table was able to eat and pay for their food, and other tables that got there after us got their food. We ended up leaving before receiving our meal. We waited there 45 minutes before giving up. Not once did the waiter check in with us. I will never be back."
