"Everything was excellent, thoughtfully crafted and carried out. The burnt ends are a highlight, as are the char siu (skip the plum sauce; the meat is so delicious on its own that it doesn't need any extra flavor), the ribs, the brisket, and the Carolina barbecue (the coleslaw features fresh horseradish, which is an unconventional but really creative addition). The sides were fantastic as well, and the service was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it!"

Went here a lot while working nearby at Bernie HQ. I swear I like it better than anywhere here in Austin.

Always a Pleasure. Ribs Tri Tip are Family Favorites. Just tried the Frito 'Pie ' with brisket which was excellent. We are lucky to live around the corner from this restaurant! View menu

So delicious! We had brisket, pulled pork and cornbread ... there was nothing but crumbs when we were done. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Very attentive! Also, conveniently located near the Morbid Anatomy Museum.

I've competed in BBQ for several years as part of the Kansas City BBQ Society (KCBS), and Fletcher's food is the closest I've seen to trophy deserving BBQ in NYC. this is a must-try place for anyone who wants real BBQ.

We went with a rack, cornbread, fresh pickles, and beans. They were incredible with the rack. The pork and beans, smokey spicy flavors are the best we have ever had. The rack was well executed ratio of dry rub to sweet smoke. View menu

I enjoyed the Boneless Rib Sandwich with Mac and Cheese, and I also sampled some Pulled Pork and Burnt Ends, all of which were outstanding. Everything was cooked to perfection. The Banana Pudding was the best I’ve ever tasted. I’d rate it a solid 10/10.

If you're not familiar with Brooklyn-style BBQ, I recommend getting to know it before forming any opinions. This place is fantastic, and as always, the BBQ was top-notch. To all the Texans and Kansas City locals, maybe stick to your own spots so the rest of us can fully enjoy this fantastic establishment!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
