"My significant other and I went to Augusta to celebrate our 5-year anniversary and asked friends in the area for recommendations. This was one of the top recommended restaurants and we were NOT disappointed. First off, we’re from Atlanta, so we’re used to really nice fine dining experiences. The food was absolutely incredible. We had steaks and the shrimp and grits as well as 2 appetizers and a side of Mac and cheese. We also had several cocktails that were creative and delicious! I’m writing this review in late December when we went the first week in November solely because it’s been on my mind to leave this review for Victoria, our incredible waitress. I know sometimes reviews can mean a lot to an owner (so I’m really hoping you see this! and I think this woman deserves some sort of raise or bonus because she’s the best waitress I’ve had in years. She made our whole dining experience. Without her, it would’ve been great food and drinks, but she made the entire experience absolutely wonderful. We were a very late reservation, so by the end of our meal the restaurant closed. Yet she still came out with a chocolate dessert and creme brûlée on a tray, said it was on her and thanked us for spending our evening with them. She said to take as long as we wanted and that just meant so much to us. So thank you Victoria. We hope our paths cross again, you’re incredible "

Lovely setting, lovely menu. My ribeye was super tough and I would not order it again for $48. The noise level was so loud you could not carry on a conversation without yelling.

Our dinner at Frog Hollow was amazing. We enjoyed cocktails, several small plates, and entrees. Everything was delicious. Our server Allie was wonderful, explained the dishes and answered all our questions. She recommended the cheesecake dessert and we all shared a huge portion

Outstanding cocktails and wine program. Our server was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and did not rush us at all. The food was very good, I happened to enjoy my small plate even more than the large. The dining room was surprisingly noisy for a Wednesday evening which was a little disappointing but overall I strongly recommend View menu

We were seated in the window in the side room and it’s really perfect, great setting. The service was attentive and much appreciated. The salads need love and attention to detail. The wedge salad has too much yellow, core lettuce that should have been removed. The tomatoes are plain sliced grape tomatoes scattered around the plate. The salad needed more dressing and care plus the FHT bacon is nothing special. The apple carpaccio salad needs more ham, more apples, more arugula, more everything. A new salad would be much appreciated. The ribeye was dry and overcooked on the edges. The Mac-n-cheese and collard greens were incredible. I don’t like collards but LOVE FH collards. They are special....

Our server, Savannah was helpful, friendly and answered all of our questions. She gave great guidance on everything from our cocktails and wine to the starters and entrees. It’s an excellent atmosphere in Frog Hollow and I only regret I haven’t tried it sooner since coming to Augusta- cozy but not crowded, lively and engaging without being loud and raucous.My daughters and I had a lovely time and a perfect dining experience. It’s a memory we will cherish and that is saying a lot! My only suggestion would be that they create more entree choices or notate on the menu things that could be adapted for those who have dietary preferences or restrictions- vegetarian, vegan or gluten free for exampl...
