"Good food at a fair price. Living just 6 miles from here...this is a staple to eat at. Quick and easy, I can often get in, eat, and get out for the same about of time it would take me to cook a meal for my family. Prices are very fair, you can usually get out of here for what it would cost you to eat at fast food for a meal deal. Service is always good. The gals that are servers here always wear a smile and have good attitudes about being at work. It is clean and a nice place to bring family and guests. A good place for good quality food."

Always good. Wait staff is mediocre but the food overshadows the talent.

BBQ sandwich was pretty good, the sauce wasn't the best. Overall pretty good.

Waiting in line to pay your bill after you've eaten is a PIA. But other than that I have to give it a thumbs up. Excellent Ribs!!

Great Sunday meal. East VS West NC flavors. Both great. Pork was the best Great NC BBQ and friendly service. Nice appetizer fried Mac cheese (with jalepeno edge) and corn fritters. Awesome View menu

The food was great, the service was outstanding, and the prices were fair. The ribs were tender and fell right off the bone, while the smoked chicken breast was deliciously juicy. I'm not fond of coleslaw, so I won't comment on that. The baked beans were flavorful, and the hush puppies were particularly tasty. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area.

We just died and went to Barbque heaven! We had the pulled pork plate with fried okra and fried green tomatoes. The pork is enough to feed 2 people generously and was moist and delicious. The okra and tomatoes were awesome. The hush puppies were the best we had ever had! They offer 6 types of sauce (mustard, white and sweet) with our favorites being the 2 sweet.

Great pork BBQ! I had the half-rack of ribs and they were fall off the bone fantastic! Hawg Wild offers a choice between eastern (vinegar) western (sweet) styles and sauces that are both authentic. Service was quick, courteous, professional. Definitely a great place for the family to go; especially since the prices were very reasonable and the portion size was enough to fill up any respectable BBQ enthusiast. View menu

My family and I have been regular customers at this restaurant for many years, and we have never had a negative experience. The manager and owners are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to ensure that you have a delightful time. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking delicious food at a reasonable price, all in a wonderful atmosphere. If there were a 10-star rating available, I would give it to them!

I’m not sure what the other reviews are referring to, but we dine here frequently and absolutely adore this restaurant! We even drive from Canton just to enjoy the food! The owners and staff are among the friendliest and most attentive I’ve ever encountered. The BBQ is, without a doubt, the best in Western North Carolina (and I’m quite picky about my BBQ). I highly recommend this place to anyone passing through! If I could give it more than five stars, I absolutely would!

"One of the rudest establishments I have ever been to. I came in a few months ago when visiting my parents in Brevard and the experience was bad then. No acknowledgement from staff even though I walked around a good 40 minutes. Cashier spoke at a decibel I couldn’t hear, but I assumed she said hello. However, I went this past Saturday to see if I could get a bouquet of flowers, much like they have at most grocery stores like Ingle’s or Trader Joe’s, even though the pickings are minimal due to the season. I politely asked a stock person, tall male, medium to thick build with black hair and a bowl cut, working in frozen foods, if they had flowers, explaining clearly I was looking for bouquets or single stems of some sort I could put together. Had he actively listened he would have understood what I was asking, but instead he said, “come with me”. He proceeded to walk me all the way from frozen food to a window that led outside to a patio, pointed, and said “see, um, no, we don’t have flowers”, to which I said “oh, this is where you would keep them?” He didn’t answer but instead, as he was turning to go back to his frozen foods, said “come back in the spring”. It didn’t dawn at me in the moment he was being an intentional a hole, as I was on a mission to get these flowers for my parents anniversary. Then as I walked outside, got in my car and drove off, I thought to myself “was he being a smarta ?” I realized, yes, in fact, he was. A smart is one thing, a misinformed smarta is another. Had he listened, instead of being mad I interrupted his stocking of shredded cheese, he would have understood I was asking for, as I know there won’t be plants or planting flowers this time of year…..We live in a world of minimal customer service nowadays and I’ve adapted. However, egregious intentional rude behavior is unacceptable. Clearly management accepts this type of behavior, as I can’t imagine with his lack of manners this is his first unnecessary interaction with a customer. What a little jerk. I hope you get better Food Matters. Of course, it won’t matter to me, as I won’t be back."
