"If you are looking for authentic flavors i would not recommend this place. I should have known as soon as I saw forks on the tables instead of chop sticks. Service is great! Everyone is kind and welcoming. Food is okay and the price is good. I got the pan fried noodles and a hot and sour soup. Both were lacking the bold umami flavor of Chinese cooking. But the entrees were clean (not greasy and tasted fresh) and presented well and was a good portion for the price. The noodles in the pan fried noodles were not the right noodle so they came out overly chewy and tasteless.Over all would I go back to this place, probably not because I like more authentic flavors. But for someone that is more into the American style Chinese will probably like it.Oh last thing the kitchen looked very clean and organized as i walked past it going to the bathroom. Bathroom was also clean."

Chefs kiss, honestly. Those spring rolls are like golden logs of pure joy. Order them time and time again.

Food was amazing. I love the walnut prawn. All around great Chinese food. Good place to go to in Palo Alto.

Great nice people, food caters to the bland folk of palo Altos none seasoning crew. No authentic flavors at all. View menu

Always solid comfort food which tastes like it’s made by my grandma. The string beans and the walnut shrimp, made with pecans instead, are always a hit View menu

None of the items we got were authentic. Westlake Beef Soup: Wasn't bad, just didn't taste like westlake beef soup. Tea Duck: Came with buns that usually you would put meat and veggies in to eat like a sandwich or wrap, but every pc of duck had bones or splinters in it ... Dan Dan Noodles: Tasted like peanut sauce noodles with some non sichuan chili sauce. Also chopsticks were not offered by default.

Probably the single worst Chinese food experience I’ve had in Palo Alto. They tried to sell us twice fried pork and it was completely messed up. The owner actually came out and had the audacity to tell us “yea we know you know what real Twice Fried Pork is and this is fake, but we don’t care. If you don’t like it we’ll take it back”. I actually burst out laughing! I’ve never had a manager blatantly tell me they cook a fake dish! Really funny but would never eat here again.
