Love this little place. Rick makes the biggest, juiciest burgers around!!!! Always nice to get a Yoo Hoo too! Great variety from lobster to pulled pork!! To sum it up satisfying, delicious and mmm, mmm, yum!!

I went to this restaurant for a quick bite to eat. The food was fantastic! I wish I had ordered more. I got the Texan hot dog and my brother got fries. The hot dog was delicious, big, and satisfying. The fries were also very tasty and clearly homemade. There is a wide variety of food options available for everyone, and the owner was very friendly. I will definitely be returning! I highly recommend this place!

I just need to acknowledge and highlight this little place that was just around the corner from our rental. I do not know his name, but our chef was so kind and generous and made us feel So welcome, while also serving us delicious food TWICE on our stay. What he doesn’t know is that after 8 hours (YES, EIGHT in the car, he brought us back to life with a lobster roll, tots and blueberry cobbler at a great price. Thanks for everything View menu

This is a great place to grab a bite. The owner usually works alone and the menu is huge. There are so many options and he makes them all with a smile. I got a cheeseburger and it was made perfectly and so cheesy. Prices are amazing. It was super busy right before we got there and he made everything as quickly as possible. He is so kind. He even gave us some hush puppies for free for waiting so long, which he didn't have to do, but he insisted and it was so kind. I would definitely stop there again!

This restaurant is a gem! As a Maine native, I can confidently say that JJ's serves the best lobster roll I've ever had. For only $19, you get a generous portion of lobster meat that easily equals the meat from two lobsters. In comparison, McLoon's charges $20 for half the amount of meat. I was disappointed on my last visit because I couldn't try JJ's hush puppies, which I've become obsessed with since a trip to North Carolina last year. I was told that the person who makes them hadn't made any that day, but it's all good - this place has a relaxed and laid-back vibe that I really appreciate. I'll definitely be back to try the hush puppies next time!

I had the fried Oyster belly basket with fries and coleslaw. I also got a pint of freshly picked blueberries. Everything was amazing! He said the oysters were fresh today and I was the only person to order some today, which surprised me. I wish he still had blueberry cobbler when I got there but the fresh blueberries were an excellent substitute! Would definitely eat here again.The only thing I didn't like was that the container didn't have a lid so driving away with the food was precarious.He said that he is open on Mondays now.Note to anyone unfamiliar: This is a take out stand. Best take-out stand in the state of Maine. The food is great, the menu is large and the service is fantastic. The parking lots is small and there isn't a lot of space here however, that just makes for a more personalized experience. The owner is super friendly and has a great taste in food. Once again, the variety is fantastic and the quality is very high. I haven't had anything I don't like here. The biggest downfall about this place is that it is closed in the winter. It makes sense but I just want to eat here all the time. If it gets busy, sometimes it can take a little while to get your food but that is pretty understandable.
