"I had an amazing experience with this vegetarian Chinese restaurant! I discovered it on Grubhub, and it turned out to be fantastic! I ordered the Kung Pao Tofu with rice and the vegetarian potstickers. Although there was a mix-up and they accidentally sent me an order of green beans, they were incredible—packed with garlic and seasoned perfectly! The vegetarian potstickers were also delicious, featuring a thick, doughy texture that sets them apart from wontons, and they came with a tasty dipping sauce. The Kung Pao Tofu was exceptional—cooked to perfection and soaked up the sauce beautifully. The balance between the tofu and vegetables was just right. This place has definitely become my go-to for Chinese delivery!"

Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The food was well-ventilated during delivery, so nothing became soggy. The value for the price is outstanding!

I ordered the veggie Chow Mein and they had a duplicate order available within 30 seconds! Nice local restaurant, I really respect the total output both from the personal and their cooking.

The food was fantastic! It was served steaming hot, flavorful, and satisfying! Although it's a small venue, it's definitely worth a visit if you can. The lunch specials are a bit pricey but offer generous portions!

Good Chinese food at reasonable prices. Everything tasted good except the fried rice which was average to me. The dishes that stood out were the Korean style fried chicken wings, Beef Chow Fun, Grilled Butter Beef and Wanton Soup. View menu

Fantastic for Chinese food. You're super busy, so I understand why the phones are busy. The order is difficult. They recently opened their dining area. If you are not concerned with the hectic, the food will concern you with aromas and joy. Order online helps if you are in a short lunch hour like me.

I also want to highlight the excellent customer service. On two occasions, they made mistakes with our order, but they couldn't have been more accommodating. They quickly corrected the issue without any hassle. Overall, I believe this is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the city. When you combine amazing flavors, quality food, and exceptional service, it's hard to beat Kung Food. View menu

We decided not to eat here. This isn't the right spot if you want to enjoy the atmosphere or the food. We were looking forward to our visit, but upon arrival, we found a trash box out front, a table blocking the entrance, and clutter in the windows. The restaurant is not accepting dine-in customers, which is mentioned online, but the ongoing refusal to allow dining in has become quite frustrating. We ultimately walked down the street to enjoy a sit-down Asian meal instead.

The restaurant offers excellent authentic Chinese cuisine at very affordable prices. We began our meal with shrimp dumplings and pork steam buns, both of which were fantastic. For lunch, we chose specials that were all under $10 each. We tried the Mongolian beef, orange chicken, and sweet and sour pork. There was a generous amount of food for the price, and everything was delicious. They also included a generous cup of sweet and sour soup and an egg roll with our meals. I will definitely return and highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
