"However, during our brief visit last evening, I couldn't shake the feeling that the warmth and hospitality we've always associated with Bistro were lacking. Upon our arrival, the initial interaction with the young hostess and another staff member felt unwelcoming. Instead of the familiar, gracious greeting, we were met with a terse question about our reservation and an indication that we could simply leave our names if we wished.
It's essential for establishments, especially those as respected as Bistro St. Michaels, to maintain a consistently high level of hospitality for both regulars and newcomers. Each interaction is significant, and even a single off day can alter a customer's perspective. That said, my memories of countless enjoyable evenings here lead me to believe this was an isolated incident.
I truly hope the management recognizes such experiences and considers providing some hospitality training for the staff. In the spirit of understanding and improvement, I would be more than willing to give Bistro another chance in the future. The magic of this place remains in our hearts; I just hope it shines through in every interaction going forward.
Warm regards,
Ryan Miner"
