"Ordered through DoorDash, 2 dishes that were supposed to come with pita bread. No pita bread on either one!!! As a Persian restaurant, how do you forget the pita?!? You should know how important it is!! This is the equivalent of ordering a carne asada plate from a Mexican restaurant and getting no tortilla!!! I also ordered hummus. No hummus was sent!!! Dry rice, dry beef koobideh, dry chicken kabob, no hummus, and no pita. Very unenjoyable meal!! Called the restaurant and spoke to Anna, who stated she's the one who packed the order. She suggested we go pick it up! Do you guys realize that defeats the purpose of a food courier?? That is why we pay all those extra fees, so that we DONT have to leave our house!!!! You want me to go pick it up while my food gets cold?? Are you going to credit my delivery fee?? She offered to provide the missing items in our next order, which is great for next time, but for now our meal is ruined!! And that's if we ever order from there again! You need a checklist system Check off every single item on the receipt, prior to handing it off. It's really that simple!! Our order was 4 items. Just ridiculous that they can't handle a 4 item order. God forbid we had a big order!"

Had bunch of sandwiches here. The best I have had. A true taste of Tehran right here. The food was fresh and perfectly balanced. I highly recommend the Marthadela.

I would not recommend ordering the shawarma platter from this place to anyone. Honestly, the chicken was of poor quality, it smelled bad and looked like it had been frozen and cooked. I had to throw it away and ordered online from somewhere else. View menu

The food at this restaurant was excellent overall! Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I ordered the family platter which was enough to feed five of us, with no leftovers. My order was ready on time and they even gave me extra bread. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because the hummus was just okay. I added the spicy version but there was no hint of spice, just a light dusting of paprika. Despite this small issue, I will definitely be ordering from here again. The food is too good to pass up just because of the hummus.
