"that was our first time we were ordered by grubhub here, we wanted to try a new Chinese place. the delivery came here when promised and our whole food was originally good. but shortly after I finished my meal, crawling rangoons and the garnelenei foo young, I began to feel museal. I had a stomachache all night and felt like I had to choke. I'm sure I have food poisoning from this place. two stars to be fair because my friend feels good, and he ate the special Mongolian and bark rolls of the cook. we will not order from here again."

my first Chinese/Japanese restaurant got a mix of Chinese food and sushi. the price for sushi is a bit at the high end of the price, but very fresh, it is worth it! View menu

On an order of $120+ they for get my sauces and I ask if they can deliver it when I’m not even far from them , and they want to continue to charge me a delivery fee even though they forgot

I work down the street and I always call before pickup. They tell me 15 minutes but I suspect they wait until I show up and pay to start cooking. Don't go here for lunch if you're working. Also, she charged a dollar for scallions that normally comes with meal.?

I've ordered food here before never had a problem until today . I ordered a smoothie the my third time which was literally sugar water I complained because it never tasted that disgusting to me before it's always good hence why I ordered it had to go back and get a refund and get utensils from my food. I'm sorry when you order food you should always put utensils in a bag The Host or whoever was at the front was so rude because I asked herfor utensils ridiculous fo

"After making my payment, I drove home with my order and should have been wary when I pulled out the sundae; it was in a plastic container that was a struggle to open! This clearly wasn't freshly scooped ice cream drizzled with warm caramel and fudge; it was obviously pre-packaged. Even though that thought nagged at me, I decided to give it a try, despite realizing that I could have gotten toppings at Tony's for much less than the $10 I paid for this sundae—yes, $10 for one turtle sundae! I tasted the whipped cream first, but it had no flavor whatsoever, so I pushed it aside. The ice cream, caramel, and fudge were all frozen solid, like a brick. Normally, when you get ice cream topped with hot fudge and caramel, the heat should start to melt the ice cream by the time you get home, but not in this case! Everything was still rock hard. It was clear that the entire container—ice cream, fudge, caramel, and whipped cream—had been sitting pre-packaged in a freezer. When I took a spoonful of the ice cream with solidified caramel, I was disappointed to find that the caramel had a gritty, waxy texture. I could actually feel this unpleasant, waxy grit on my lips, teeth, and tongue! Having been around long enough, I recognize that this is what happens to sugary syrups when they age or are frozen for too long. It was utterly disgusting, and I cannot recommend this place! This is what happens to businesses that have been around for a while but have lost interest in maintaining the quality of their food."

"bad experience twice . first time , waitress came up to me and told me she doesn 't agree with this but her manager told her to come tell me that a customer complained about the way I was slouched on my laptop because of how I was dressed and to sit more upright (I am a female attorney and stopped in after being in court; my guess is the more conservative customers across from my table didn 't like that wasn 't wearing a pant suit . Why did the restaurant disrespect me because of disrespectful customers who have trouble minding their own business? I decided to give it a shot again a few years later (last month , and when I came in in the morning asked them if it was okay that I had my laptop and I 'd be there for a couple hours, ordering coffee/tea to start and lunch in an hour and a half or so (I also ended up ordering dinner for my whole family to go . I made sure that was okay before I sat down because I live far, had to stay in the area for a few hours , and had my laptop and can 't keep moving around. Another bad experience an hour ten minutes in or so, despite having ordered an appetizer and tea, a female manager came up to me asking me if I was going to order more food (to which I responded yes and then telling me I needed to move to the other side of the restaurant because someone wanted my table. I kid you not, the restaurant was 70 80 percent empty, only a few other customers . I told her I was surprised because I was transparent about what I needed when I first came in since I lived far away and wanted to have lunch here. She said she had 'no choice ' but to ask me to move because 'someone ' told her to tell me. I asked for the check if they didn 't really want me there ; the really kind waitress I originally had came back and apologized and asked me to please stay and that I could just stay on my table and order my lunch. she said she doesn 't understand why they 're doing this. I asked if the manager was around; the waitress told me the person who came to me was the manager I was shocked because the 'manager ' kept acting like it wasn 't in her hands and kept referring to someone who made her come to me. the waitress was so sweet though and brought me more tea. I ate my lunch, ordered dinner to go for my family, and tipped the waitress well. I am in Bridgeview during work hours every week on Thursdays and often frequent the restaurants in the area on those days (with both an appetite and my laptop because I like supporting these smaller businesses. I 've gone to the Em Karam (formerly Oozie multiple times , the Nile, Baba Saaj (spelling? , and some other more sit down restaurants and have never been treated this way; I 'm always treated with kindness . The staff at Em Karam are actually happy to see me whenever I come in on Thursdays, and the food is phenomenal. The difference in how the staff are is surreal. I don 't want to assume the management at Al bawadi just treat me a certain way because I am a woman (I look much younger than I am despite approaching 40 , but when a grown woman is being told she needs to sit a certain way, what am I supposed to think? When management lies to their customers for no reason, it 's just reflective of the culture of the restaurant. There are plenty of Arab and Palestinian restaurants in the area who are more respectful to the women who come into their restaurants, so I 'll be taking my business elsewhere."
