"Strike 1: During the health crisis, I was singled out and asked to put my mask back on while other patrons were happily chatting and standing around without theirs. When I informed the rude bartender that I was ready to order, which was why my mask was off, I received nothing but a nasty attitude in response. Strike 2: I decided to give them another chance and came in with some colleagues. Unfortunately, we were completely ignored for over 20 minutes while the owner and his staff chatted with what seemed to be a room full of regulars. Strike 3: On my next visit, I brought along some neighbors. The flights we ordered were unimpressive, and the cocktails were lukewarm and tasted almost syrupy, with artificial flavors dominating. Overall, this was by far the worst distillery/brewery/pub experience we've ever had, not just west of the Atlantic Ocean but anywhere. We absolutely love local distilleries and craft breweries, having visited many, but this one is indefinitely off our list."

Great little bar/distillery, in middle of an industrial complex. Great drinks and friendly staff. Pinball and a kitchen.

A hidden gem in Westminster! The cocktail and drink selection is fantastic, and the food menu is impressive too—all at reasonable prices. The spacious venue also features plenty of games.

The drinks were incredible! However, the bartender didn’t seem very friendly, especially since we were the only patrons at the time. I actually appreciate the fact that it’s a quiet, secluded spot.

I had high hopes for this place, but after two visits, I was left disappointed. Both times, the drinks were subpar and I couldn't finish them. The staff were friendly, but their kindness couldn't compensate for the lackluster cocktails. View menu

I visited on a Saturday with a group of three, and the bartender was incredibly sweet! I wish I could remember her name, but she provided fantastic customer service. The interior is beautifully designed, and they offer pinball and other games to enjoy. The drinks and spirits were top-notch, easily a 10/10. I highly recommend checking it out!

This place is a Hidden Gem!! We got the largest sampler with all of the spirits they offered and our whole group was impressed!!! Personally the Rye was my favorite! I also loved the Barrel aged Rum, and the Anejo Tequila!! The staff was so friendly and accommodating! They have pin ball machines and other games for the whole group. We absolutely loved it here and plan to make it a regular stop!!

Wow just wow! This is what I call a hidden gem because it 's in an interesting location but totally worth the trip. I was extremely excited when their winter menu had 'Hot Toddy ' listed. Not a lot of places have this drink or even know how to make it correctly, well not here. It was amazing! The hot buttered rum, old fashioned, the food, and WONDERFUL ladies working here. I just can 't say enough good things about Mad Rabbit. Will definitely be going again soon and taking me a bottle of that amazing 9 year bourbon! HIGHLY recommend! View menu

I visited Mad Rabbit for the first time this summer, drawn in by its close proximity to the distillery. Upon entering, I was immediately captivated by the remarkable collection of pinball machines—it felt like stepping into an adult arcade, and I hadn't even ordered a drink yet! Paul, the owner, graciously gave my partner and me a tour of the distillery in the back, and I was truly impressed by the incredible attention to detail throughout the place. Since then, I've returned several times and have always been met with warmth and kindness from Audrey and the staff. Thank you, Mad Rabbit, for all the wonderful memories so far; I can't wait to create more!

"So I suppose it's up to the manager of a restaurant whether to replace a returned entree at no extra charge the customer for the uneaten food. Whatever the policy at Sakana (we didn't ask when we saw the item in question added to our bill, we didn't feel like getting into an argument), we still found the attitude of the server when my girlfriend didn't enjoy her spicy miso ramen to be unacceptable. Instead of simply offering a replacement when my girlfriend explained that she couldn't taste any miso in the broth, the lady server told us that the miso ramen tasted as intended and that adding more paste to the broth would make it too salty. It still didn't taste very good, but whatever. Fine. My gf orders the curry ramen instead. It's pretty decent, nothing to write home about. At the end of the meal, we get charged full price for the spicy miso even tho all she ate of it was the egg added at additional cost. Did not mention this before the bill came out. We probably would've moved on without complaint if we hadn't been talked down to when trying to replace the order or had the return policy more clearly explained to us. Will not be coming back due to this experience. I've been to better and more expensive restaurants that return and replace an entree, no questions asked, especially when -you didn't eat it-. I've had $50 steaks taken back without being charged, but you're gonna die on the hill of your watery $15 ramen? No thx. The food, for the most part, is okay. My tonkutsu ramen broth was acceptable, tho my pork was overcooked. My gf's replacement curry ramen was better than the spicy miso, but it was not great. It did have tasty fried chicken, but very few other ingredients besides noodles and spinach. She wasn't so into it. Where the cuisine shines is the sushi. The fish tastes like it's well sourced and is adequately competitive for the price range. We didn't love the ramen experience, but we were actually considering coming back just for the sushi before we saw that they'd charged us for the returned food. The shrimp shumai appetizer was tasty but a little skimpy on the portions, four tiny dumplings for $8 or $9. Ultimately, Sakana is worth going to if you just want sushi and don't mind a somewhat cramped and loud atmosphere during peak hours and a snooty attitude from the staff. I'd have added more stars if not for the service experience. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Nigiri"
