Worst mutton I had ever in my life with combo of paratha, no value of money ? I could have cooked at home better than them?

If you're craving South Indian Tamil cuisine, this is the spot to visit. It can be hit or miss; on the off days, the food is still decent, but on the really good days, they absolutely nail it.

I visited the restaurant yesterday and ordered the mutton curry dosa and chicken fried rice. The mutton curry dosa only had gravy and no pieces of mutton, yet it cost $14.99. As for the chicken fried rice, all I could taste was warmth and spice. View menu

I don't understand why people recommend this place for parotta. People in Dallas have so limited Indian options that they start celebrating mediocre food. Hygiene is pathetic. Service is good though, very enterprising.Can work on improving taste.

Cool experience to see a Thattu Kadai in America with all the poster hanged on the wall. But it was a mess long wait time some of the food items they don’t have and the atmosphere itself is nice but it’s better to go in the lunch time than dinner time if you want to bring your family. The food was good and flavorful but it could have been better!!

Ordered take out from here on Sunday. Porotta was cooked using stale oil. Had a very bad stale oil taste to it. Mutton kuzhambu had two mutton bones with very little meat on them. Nethli fry was good but had a lot of soda added which caused immediate bloating. Overall horrible food with lots of soda added to give you a feeling of fullness. Avoid if possible. View menu

I noticed pomfret fry on the menu and decided to order it, but I was disappointed to find it was actually pompano fish. Pomfret and pompano are not the same, and I wish the restaurant had labeled it correctly. Unfortunately, the fish wasn't cleaned properly and was simply deep-fried, making it inedible. I ended up discarding it. If you know fish, you understand! However, the mutton sukka is definitely worth a try. Everything else on the menu was just okay.

Playing south indian movie music with old movie poster decor. Order and pickup the food when your name gets called out. . Food was spicy which I normally love but this was not appealing to me. I felt every dish needed to be cooked a while longer for the right flavors to develop. Oil content was high. The malabar parottas were good . Predominantly catering only for South Indian taste buds. Maybe the cooking wasn't on par that day as it seemed to be a very busy.

I heard lots about this place and thought of to give it a try ..And here are few points I like to share ..1. Ambience: I visited during weekend for the Dinner and it was full house almost and provided crowd were mostly family persons. The interior was furnished base on south film industry theme and musics which felt me energetic.. Though I am not from south but I enjoyed the vibes).2 . Food : I tried, Dosa, Podi idly and another dish made with noodles I forgot the name) , but honestly Dosa or Idly were not at all for kids because those were too spicy , my kid started crying.. later ordered sweet type food for him..so for Adults who love Tamil cuisine and extremely spicy for them this is a mu...
