"My children treated me to a Mothers Day lunch at Seven Gables, and everything was absolutely PERFECT!! There was nothing that we ate, that did not hit a 12 on the 10 palate scale : The Chef and owner spent time talking to us about the dishes, the restaurant and his family...he was such a joy!! I tried Escargot for the first time and loved it!! I will say that all of his sauces were beyond amazing!! I had the lobster tails..sooo good! My husband had the sole fish and was very impressed...this is REALLY hard to do!! My daughter had the mussels and the Chef even brought us more bread so we could "sop "up some of the sauce....my son had the Crabmeat Ravioli...which will be my next meal!! We loved the atmosphere, the adorable interior, personal touches that just made the lunch...we will be back in a few weeks when we are back in Georgia... We ordered all four of the desserts that were in the menu....Chocolate Mousse is your winner!! Make a special trip to enjoy this hidden treasure!! Chef Alain, we will see you soon!!"

"The food was fantastic, and the staff couldn't have been nicer! We chose this restaurant as our dinner stop on a road trip after seeing the glowing reviews on Maps. Even though we arrived just 20 minutes before closing time, they welcomed us without hesitation. The honey ranch wings were absolutely amazing! Though the wings were on the smaller side, they were perfectly seasoned and cooked, so it’s worth ordering extra. We also decided to try their fried rice based on rave reviews, and it did not disappoint—it was delicious! Our teenager ordered chicken tenders with fries and loved every bite. The fries were particularly excellent—nice and crispy! The Philly Cheese Steak was also very good. Overall, we enjoyed everything we ordered and left feeling fully satisfied. The prices were very reasonable as well. We’ll definitely be coming back! A lovely family runs this restaurant, and they are doing a wonderful job!"

"The quality of food and service has significantly declined. During my last two visits, the waitstaff seemed to prioritize their friends while ignoring other customers, which led to us withholding our tip. We received burnt food, and after returning it, we were uncertain about what alternative dish we would get or how long we would have to wait. We accepted what they offered and decided we won't be coming back. Just to illustrate my point, it's worth noting that the owner only responds to positive reviews and never offers any apologies—just empty rhetoric suggesting that they’ve addressed the issues."

"If you’re a fan of the show The Originals then you will love this because it was Gillespies on the show! The whole street in fact is where they filmed parts of The Originals! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was really good however the very I’m giving a 4 start is because of the service.. our waitress was terrible. She wasn’t attentive at all and she kept going outside to sit with some guy at a table for 15 minutes at a time when I asked her about the place being from the show she acted like she don’t care. But otherwise it is very cool and great food!"
