"This place is disgusting and I should know because I used to clean the kitchens. I bet that pipe full of worms still gets new rags shoved in it every night. Try and come for me, Allen, I was 17 working nights on your cleaning crew where you regularly paid me incorrectly, that nda was signed by a minor who was working for you illegally and you knew it so try to come for me. This place is a disgrace to true German heritage. The food is all frozen and canned. That sauerkraut? Canned. All of the brats? Frozen. The only fresh things here are potatoes and onions which btw are constantly crawling with roaches which we had to pray for every single night because he would rather pay us $8 an hour to clean the entire restaurant including the kitchen and catering as opposed to paying an actual wage and hiring an exterminator. Go here if you want food poisoning, I remember more than 5 times when I worked here that the sewer backed up into the entire restaurant and customers were told it was just dirty water lol yeah it was dirty, dirty with sewage. Disgusting and disgraceful, the entire hanselman family should be ashamed of themselves."

The atmosphere was inviting and vibrant, making it a great place for dinner. I highly recommend trying the steak and onion rings if you visit!"

"My brother Scott is the pit boss there. My nephew Bert does various things there and my nephew Riley is there part time. Excellent food. Helps to know they've got the right person with all the passion in the world of cooking and grilling and smokin up the best meats.The service was awesome. One primary server with the entire team of servers helping to get the food to tables in good time and I cannot complain about any of the entire experience.The gentlemen singing at the open mic sounded terrific and most of us at our table of 9 sang right along with them... at our own table, of course. They provided everyone with an entertaining atmosphere and we enjoyed it all.Thank you so much for a wonderful experience and a wonderful time. ?Ps... the brisket, pulled pork sandwiches, and chicken wings HIGHLY RECOMMEND. YUM!! ?"

"We arrived around 6:30 PM, expecting a busy atmosphere, but found only one other table that had already finished their meal. We noticed five staff members on duty. We were seated promptly and received chips and drinks without any issues. However, after that, it felt like we were completely forgotten. Two staff members spent their time joking with the other table, seemingly uninterested in us. No one came over to take our order, which makes it clear why the place was so empty. Eventually, we decided to leave and headed to Retro Mexican instead. I learned that the owner of Retro used to work at this restaurant. To our delight, Retro was packed and fantastic. Thank you for the lack of service—you led us to discover Retro!"

"We waited to be seated even tho there wasn't any wait. Just ignored. Then when we were seated, the table was extremely sticky, like, making our fingers sticky to touch it. We asked for the waitress to wipe the table and she exhaled very loudly, rolled her eyes and just walked off. Another lady that spoke English explained it was just the wood...and refused to wipe table! ....what?!... Wipe the table when a customer asks! If it's that hard to just wipe a table I wonder how well the hygiene and cleanliness is here. The waitress came back and while we were discussing what we wanted to order, as we weren't sure, she waved us on with her hand trying to rush us, then cut us off mid-question by asking if we need more time in a very annoyed tone. We ordered guacamole. When it came back and it was just tomatoes, onions, cilantro and avocado thrown in a bowl, not even mixed up, I was done. We told the hostess we were ready to go. She asked why and we told her but did we really need to? Wipe. The. Table. BTW. Mi Jalisco has wooden tables that are NOT sticky and they were more than happy to serve us. It was delicious. Go there! It's one minute north by Hibbets sports and TJ Max."
