"We went on Saturday 09/23 for our 20 year anniversary dinner. What a mistake this was. The waiter told us he had 24 years of experience at the restaurant. I dreaded him from the moment we sat down. We wanted a nice bottle of red asked if the restaurant had a Somali as he was giving us attitude zero knowledge of wine. Not long after we placed our order appetisers and main. He asked if we wanted the chocolate soufflé. Our 12 yr old is a chocolate addict so we knew this would take at least 20-30 minutes so we placed the order early on. After serving wine I asked if get had any special drinks for kids. He said nothing apart from sodas or lemonade then he said Shirley temple. My son who is ultra healthy drinks sparking water with lime asked what was a Shirley temple l. The waiter responded don't you know? Moving on onto ordering for me as I am a foodie I asked it's a toss up between the swordfish/John dory. Well jerk I was not asking what John Dory is I asked about how the two dishes lineup. Anyhow I ended up telling him we do not see eye to eye and basically I don't like his attitude. Towards the end the soufflé came and after our mains we had intentions of ordering other desserts but because he did not check I was done. On our way out I told the bald guy who I have now learnt is the owner was ultra dismissive. I don't know how anyone who is a foodie thinks this is an ok restaurant let alone mediocre. If you are a foodie you know service and quality lacking in both areas. The WAITER told us he had 24 years experience. He can stick his 24 years where it belongs."

Mistral is an amazing gem in Sherman Oaks. Raul and Henri have created and maintained the perfect upscale neighborhood bistro.... delicious food, warm, professional staff...plus I love the continued option of the large outdoor patio

Our first time at this restaurant and will definitely be back! The food was excellent, service and ambiance top notch. Tried John Dory for the first time which was delicious and what’s a good French meal without chocolate soufflé! Fantastic night out! View menu

Food was delish, especially the French Onion Soup, OMG. The chocolate soufflé was spectacular too! We chose to dine inside after reading some of the reviews, and loved the ambiance. The cherry on top was the staff, so courteous, personable and professional. Would whole heartedly recommend this restaurant!

I had not been here since 2016 and went for dinner last night. Absolutely decadent and top tier food, as it was years ago. Thankfully, the steak tartare was still on the menu. Still one of the greatest French onion soups you'll find in the area. The John Dory fish was superb with a great crust and delicious sauce. Excellent service and they were just barely able to squeeze us (party of 2) in with no reservation.

"Deja Vu Cakes is a fantastic bakery that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious treat. This family-owned bakery is run by a husband and wife who bake everything on-site, and their commitment to using only all-natural ingredients with no artificial additives is admirable.I visited this bakery on St. Patrick's Day, my experience was nothing short of wonderful. The staff was very friendly and hospitable, making me feel welcome and appreciated from the moment I walked in. They had a fantastic selection of seasonal cupcakes displayed top-level of the display case that are beautifully decorated and a sight to behold which included the St. Patrick's Day cupcake with a gold coin on top. The St. Patrick's Day cupcake was a red velvet cake, colored green, and topped with a gold chocolate coin. The frosting was creamy and rich, and our daughter loved it.The Bailey's cupcakes had some alcohol in them, and they were a real treat. The frosting was creamy and rich, and the cupcakes were moist and flavorful. We enjoyed every bite. The bakery's prices are also reasonable, ranging from 4-5 dollars per item. The shop itself is cute and has a welcoming atmosphere, with a friendly and hospitable staff that makes the entire experience even more enjoyable.Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Deja Vu Cakes and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and friendly bakery.I highly recommend Deja Vu Cakes for their excellent customer service, quality cupcakes, and commitment to using all-natural ingredients. If you're looking for a delicious and welcoming bakery, this is the place to go."
