"We were sitting in a nearby bar using tripadvisor to find a restaurant near us. We are so pleased we did. You will either stumble upon this restaurant by accident or miss it completely. It's not on a main road (which makes the view from the window even better) so we recommend you make the effort to find it. We are two typical non French speaking English looking for French food. We were not disappointed as most of the 'petit' menu was French. The place is very small but strangely there are a lot of tables yet it doesn't feel cramped.We had a lovely friendly welcome and lots of help with the menu. There are also hand written notes of suggestions from the chef. Even though the menu is small we were struggling to choose as it all sounded so good. We both chose different mains so we could try both and they were both delicious and well presented. If we hadn't have been leaving Lille the next day then I think we would've booked a table for the following evening. We had no room for dessert but couldn't turn it down anyway. It was very nice so it was a good move for the head if not for the waist. Prices were reasonable and we felt they were a bargain given the quality of the food. Tip: Book ahead and try to get the table by the window upstairs."

"Customer for about a year, this restaurant has become my canteen when I work. the ratio quality price is very good and the kitchen is excellent. Always a good pressure beer with a bearing that allows you to discover some flavors. The boss and all the staff are really good. I recommend that the eyes be closed."

"We chose the restaurant GEORGES V to celebrate Julien 's birthday, who was celebrating his 40th birthday. As big fans of Welsh, we had heard about the famous Welsh from the North, and we were not disappointed! The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and friendly, perfect for a special celebration. The service was impeccable, with staff attentive and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Let 's move on to the main course the long awaited welsh. The chef of the Georges V has been able to magnify this emblematic dish of the North with exceptional mastery. The texture of the melted cheese, the generosity of the ingredients and the balance of flavors made this tasting an unforgettable moment. Julien, as a big Welsh fan, was delighted with this unique culinary experience. We also appreciated the diversity of the wine list, providing an excellent accompaniment to our meal. The dessert was just as delicious, putting the icing on the cake to end our lunch in style. In summary, the GEORGES V restaurant exceeded our expectations for this birthday celebration and a lunch with colleagues! We highly recommend this establishment to all lovers of good food, pleasant atmosphere and memorable moments. "Nous sommes des habitués de la Source et avions envie d'une pause rafraîchissante et apaisante dans ce lieu qui est une institution pour nous. Changement de décor, changement de carte, on a vite compris qu'il y avait du changement. Le décor est plutot réussi. Par contre, nous avons été très déçus par plusieurs points: la carte est réduite, et ne propose plus que 3 plats. Plus de carafe de thym qui nous attend sur la table.. Nous avons choisi un tartare de boeuf . qui n'était pas à la hauteur; viande coupée grossièrement, un jaune d'oeuf posé dessus .. accompagné de salade et de quelques pommes de terre .. et le tout pour 20€ !!! Immangeable..On est très loin de l'ancienne Source et son cuisinier magique ! Ce que nous aimions dans ce lieu ¨> la découverte à chaque fois de nouveaux plats, légumes, la générosité des assiettes, les prix abordablesCe restaurant prend le créneau du Bio et le monétise. Il manque l’âme, et l'envie de partager un état d'esprit !!Aucune découverte, un plat indigne .. quel gachis, nous ne viendrons plus.et ca nous rend triste."
