Cozy atmosphere with delicious food. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Smith Mountain Lake area!

Nice old timmy restaurant reminded me of a place my grandma would take me. I enjoyed my meal and service.

Delicious food, friendly staff, and a fantastic space in the back for larger groups! I wish they offered WiFi, as I had no signal during my visit, which makes it challenging to work while dining. Nevertheless, the food was still excellent, and the staff were incredibly welcoming! View menu

My husband and I tried the Philly Subs—one steak and one chicken—and they were both delicious! The fries were fantastic, incredibly crispy on the outside while remaining soft on the inside, not at all hard. The prices were reasonable, and the service was excellent. We’ll definitely be returning!

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating for our big party of 6. The food came out quickly and all meals tasted great. A person lacked a page, but that was quickly withdrawn. Small dining area, but there were additional tables on the back. Overall we had a very nice culinary experience.

Cute little cafe/diner. Food came out quick, coffee cup was never empty. Service was good. Very down home feel which was nice. You could tell they have regulars that come there which is always nice to see. We were just passing thru but it was tasty! Would return for sure! Don't sleep on the corn beef hash!! I rated the restaurant a 4 because I had the buffet. The scrambled eggs were mass-produced and pretty bland, which is typical for this style of preparation. The potatoes were undercooked and not very enjoyable, having a slightly crunchy texture. The corned beef hash tasted like it came out of a can and was also lacking in flavor. On the bright side, the biscuits and gravy were fantastic!

We visited this restaurant for breakfast for the first time, and the food was fantastic! The staff was extremely friendly. We had the breakfast buffet along with their special pear Sangria mimosas, which were unique and refreshing. Although there was a line, we put our names on the list and only waited about 8 minutes. The gentleman behind us assured us it was worth it! We will definitely return when we visit SML again.

We chose to visit Olde Oak Cafe, a clean and inviting restaurant located near West Lake Plaza on Scruggs Rd, SML. We were not disappointed. The restaurant was very clean and provided ample space for diners to enjoy their meals in a healthy environment. The food was well-prepared, delicious, and served hot and beautifully presented. My husband and I felt that the prices were comparable to those at Roanoker, Pete's, and other nearby restaurants in Roanoke that we have recently visited. The bathroom was also clean; the only thing I noticed was that it could have been slightly warmer inside. View menu
