"Ordered pork loin main. It was missing the pistachio and prosciutto. When I told waitress she didn’t know it was supposed to come with it. My friends pork loin salad came out with nuts which she requested none. When it was returned her pork loin was rare. Waitress was new and seemed overwhelmed. The place was packed so we were being understanding but the overall experience was disappointing. Last two times there we were very happy with food and service. It was a miss last night."

"What a great service and a wonderful cake! I called with a high order. I wanted a cake to find the sex of my baby, but I wanted it that day, with an hour to the conclusion. Not only did they do this job, but I have a beautiful and really delicious cake. "I visited this restaurant with a friend for dinner on a Thursday night, and we had to wait 45 minutes for a table for two. I appreciate their waitlist system, which allows you to see where you stand, but the restaurant was so crowded that there was hardly any space to sit and enjoy your drink while waiting. The skinny margaritas were quite tasty, and the chips and salsa were incredibly fresh. I ordered a combo to try the smothered green chili sauce, which was good, though it was a bit light and some of the flavor got lost. The ground beef taco and the enchilada were both enjoyable as well. Service was relatively quick! However, at one point during our meal, water started pouring down from the ceiling two tables away. Thankfully, we didn’t have to relocate, but it was quite unexpected and a bit alarming to see where the water was coming from. Also, the place tends to get really smoky at times."

"We've been to East Moon before and this visit was as wonderful as the other visits. We reserved on Open Table 30 minutes before our arrival. They already had a reserved sign on our table when we arrived. My martini was delicious as was my husband's Japanese beer. I had the Kung Pao chicken and I could not get enough. The flavors were clean and spicy and the quality of the ingredients was impeccable. My husband had a sushi roll, hot and sour soup, and a salad all three were fantastic. I expected our dessert would not necessarily be the best since many restaurants seem to consider dessert as an after thought rather than planned out like the other courses. I was pleasantly surprised in the outstanding flavor and quality of our chocolate cake...very, very, VERY good! Our waitress was delightful and the atmosphere of East Moon is very nice. East Moon is a hidden gem and deserves all the high marks they receive. We will be going back again."
