Peet's Coffee - Menu

Replaced all their padded chairs with uncomfortable little wood-hard things so no one stays long. Too bad, it was such a nice place to read at or chat with friends at. Just another grab and go now.

Peet's Coffee could benefit from hiring additional staff or enhancing their organization. During my several visits, I've consistently had to wait nearly 20 minutes for my coffee. I've also encountered problems with receiving the wrong pastry or not getting my actual order.

This place seems really hit or miss, depending on who is working. Sometimes it's quick, friendly, efficient service, sometimes it takes 10 minutes to get a drip coffee and an employee is barking out to customers like they're a drill Sargeant. Peet's Coffee offers fantastic iced coffee, and the friendly staff often engage in warm conversations with the regulars, making it feel like old friends gathering. During the summer, they even have special event sales with discounts of up to 50% on items displayed on the corner shelf of the menu.

That was pretty rude and indifferent.I stood in there for about 5 minutes waiting for an order and not one employee welcomed me, I wasn't even acknowledged. Same goes for the other customers. I 've decided to NEVER visit this Peet 's location again. Super-slow service on the weekends, and today when I went in and ordered a LARGE drink, they tried giving me a medium. The young girl said, Well, you were charged for a medium, so if youwant, we can remake it if you pay the difference. Are you kidding me! THEIR mistake, and they want to make me pay the $1difference! I should have taken my $1.80 tip back! I just told her, forget it, and walked out. Funny thing is, the SAMEthing happened a month or two ago. WOW! But that time, at least the barista just chose to give me a slight attitude and remakeit, in LARGE, and not charge me the difference. What do they think...that I am trying to hu...
