"Not sure if it was just a bad day or what. Seeing the reviews, I tried this place out while staying in town. It seemed promising. I got pho chin and bun thit nuong. I didn?t like either of them. The pho broth was dark brown and a bit cloudy, not agood sign of quality. It had a funny taste, like pepper or something. Can?t place it. It was just off. The bun thit nuong wasoff too. Meat was very low quality, chewy and fatty. My husband got bun bo nuong with cha gio and he didn?t like his either. Heonly took a few bites. The cha gio was not good. He gave it to me and I didn?t like it either. I felt bad, so I tried to eat asmuch of it as I could. I couldn?t eat the thit nuong at all. Kind of bummed, because it had been a few months since I?ve hadVietnamese and I missed it. Usually, if a place isn?t good, I can still eat it just fine, and say it was whatever. Ok but notgreat. This is the first Vietnamese restaurant I?ve been to where I would say it was bad. So disappointing because I was stayingclose by."

Spring Rolls are much smaller at this Pho compared to the Pho by Neighborhood Walmart in Vallejo. Same company, different standards. Taste good, just smaller without pork sometimes

I ordered a bowl of seafood pho and some egg rolls. Now this review is based on when I just rolled into town after 4 hours of driving and was craving a steaming hot bowl of pho. Let?s note it was raining that day. The egg rolls were made fresh and they were packed with meat and veggies, not the traditional noodle. This dish wasn?t my favorite because the taste was not up to par, yet it could be someone else?s favorite. I did like my pho, and with the mom and pop feel of this place, made the dish even more enjoyable on a rainy cloudy day. My boyfriend ordered a traditional Vietnamese dish of rice, eggs, beef, and crab. He finished his dish so that says a lot lol.

The bun thit nuong was also disappointing. The meat was of very low quality—chewy and fatty. My husband ordered bun bo nuong with cha gio, and he wasn’t pleased with his meal either; he only managed to take a few bites. The cha gio wasn’t good at all, and he ended up giving it to me, but I didn’t like it either. I felt bad about it, so I tried to eat as much as I could, but I couldn’t manage to eat the thit nuong at all. I was really looking forward to this meal since it had been a few months since I had Vietnamese food, and I was missing it. Normally, even if a place isn't that great, I can still manage to enjoy the meal and say it was “okay,” but this is the first Vietnamese restaurant w...
